I studied at Brushstroke Academy back in 2014/15. Since attending the ITEC Level 3 Diploma Course I have had a successful and diverse career in the Hair and Makeup industry, working on various films and live TV shows such as Good Morning Britain and The Voice Kids, as well as working as a Colour Specialist and Makeup Designer for the brand Trinny London.
I will be returning soon to refresh my hairdressing skills with my original tutor Milo for some upcoming work following a maternity leave break!
I am so excited to come back for the refresher more than 10 years later and am so grateful for the excellent aftercare Brushstroke is able to provide to me.
If you are considering Brushstroke as a starting point in the makeup industry I highly recommend it!

I finished the 7 Month course back in April this year and as a result i was lucky enough to go straight into a 2 month job with one of the tutors from Brushstrokes. It was amazing putting all that I had learnt from the incredible tutors into action and it was the best experience. I have since worked on Antiques Road Show and Strictly Come Dancing. My experience at Brushstrokes was incredible and I feel very fortunate to of been thought by some of the best in the industry. I would highly recommend this course if you are looking for a career in the hair & makeup industry !!

I had such an incredible experience with Brushstroke. The tutors are wealths of knowledge and the information that they passed on to me and my feeling class mates is something that I will carry with me for the rest of my career. The course I partook in was the 7 month fast track course for the industry and though it was intense I would not change a single thing. So much information was covered throughout my time with them. I am very grateful for everything they have done for me. Would highly recommend!

I definitely recommend Brushstroke to anyone looking to pursue a professional career as a Hair and Makeup Artist. Every single teacher has worked in the industry for years and has great experience behind them. I did the intensive 2 year hair and makeup course! You look at all parts of the industry in great detail! Brushstroke also offer aftercare, so if you missed out on anything or need to retouch on a few things you can! Definitely worth every penny, you won't be let down if you come here!

I have just recently completed the 1 year hair dressing and barbering course which I really enjoyed doing, I gained so much information and confidence in what I learnt. Before this course, I completed the 2 year hair and makeup course which was also a great experience in-which I gained a lot of knowledge on. Brushstroke also offered a lot of work experience and the tutors were amazing!

I have just finished the 2 year course at brushstroke and have loved every minute of it. As a result of the excellent and thorough training I was able to work as a trainee on a Netflix series a few weeks before I had even finished the course! I would highly recommend Brushstroke as you not only learn everything you need, to succeed in the industry but make great friends along the way as well!!

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of joining brushstrokes and looking to get into the professional hair and makeup industry. I did the 2 year media hair and makeup course and followed on and did the 1 year hairdressing and barbering course. I learnt a great deal which has set me in the right direction as I start to work in the industry. All the tutors have great knowledge and have worked in the industry for years so you are learning from the best!
