I sent my son to Explore where I hoped he would fill some knowledge gaps, and work towards his entrance exams for the secondary school he wanted to attend.
The Explore team were amazing, and so informative, covering all knowledge gaps, and building his confidence. Not only did he catch up, but within a year he started truly excelling at school specifically in English and Maths. He felt confident taking his secondary school entrance exam, was offered a year 7 place, and I can see how proud he is of his achievements.
I can't recommend Explore Learning enough, they made the world of difference to my son.

My daughter enjoyed attending lessons with Paul and team. I had regular updates from Paul. I would definitely recommend EL Oxford to children require that extra support to excel.

My daughter has loved Explore and it has really supported her missed learning since covid. The staff are amazing which means my daughter enjoys it even more. In her word it's more like fun than school!

We have taken our son to Explore Learnings in Heyford hill last 2 years and the result was very good. Our son received the correct tuition in English and Maths. Also, the tutors are good and made sure our son have learnt the correct materials. Lot of encouragement and help with explanation provided to make the subject understood.

Both of my daughters (currently aged 13 and 9) have been attending Explore in Oxford for a few years now. My eldest daughter needed additional support with her Maths and my younger daughter with her English. Explore has helped them hugely in these areas and at the same time both girls have studied their stronger subject also at Explore. This has allowed us to keep up to date on their progress in both subject areas and ensure that they are on track with the school year curriculum. The children learn via an online computer system which they can do either in the Centre itself or at home if they prefer. Tutors are on hand every step of the way and support small groups with the learning or they can have 1:1 tuition which is also available.

Both of my children have grown in confidence and are not afraid to tackle tricky subject areas. They know when to ask for help and understand that it is OK to make mistakes. As they go every week to Explore, they maintain their knowledge levels over the holidays which is particularly useful in the summer and before they go into the new school year.

We have a parent meeting every 3 months and because most of the learning is done online, we receive an in-depth report on progress. We can see how much they have learnt of the school syllabus for their school year. We can see what subject areas and skills they have mastered, what areas still need more focus and because of this detailed report we are able to adjust the learning for each child as required.

The Explore Team in Oxford are excellent! They are passionate and committed about teaching the children and getting them to achieve their very best. I absolutely recommend them!

Highly Recommended, My son lacked confidence in his own ability and became overwhelmed with KS2 Sats. In the short time he attended EL Oxford they help develop his confidence and taught him coping techniques and time management for the test days. In December he couldn’t even complete a mock test by May he had the confidence and ability to complete all papers. Results are in and he passed all exams with flying colours..
Thank you to Paul, Kate and the team for all your support, helping our son to achieve what we all knew he was more than capable of achieving!
