An excellent day out for a very reasonable price. The gardens are very pretty and whilst we were there, a dinosaur exhibition was on that was brilliant and made good use of the space. The house itself is worth spending a good amount of time exploring. The staff are particularly helpful to explain its history. A nice cafe on site with plenty of seating indoors and out. The zoo was a highlight with some beautiful animals. A great family day out

Apparently you get a small discount when pre booking, but I still didn't mind paying£11.50 For that you get the hall/ house itself, which has been restored to what it looked like before it was bought by the council. There are also guides in the house to help you with any questions. I am happy how Steven was trying to get me as much information as he could. If you really enjoy these mansions, an hour in the house is a minimum. For the entry charge, so also get to walk in their gardens and a very small zoo, but it's still good to visit. They have penguins and lemurs. And more. Definitely my visit exceeded expectations. I ended my visit by jumping on their road train to the town for£3. Enjoyed that too. The driver was happy to explain where the train is actually going. At least now, September 2024,they have LEGO dinosaurs in the gardens.

Had a fantastic day here. Good value at £11.50 per adult for the house, wonderful gardens and a small zoo. Also great cafe with a proper pot of tea. I had a toasted teacake with plenty of butter and Martin had a lovely cheese panini. Animals in the zoo look well cared for so was good to visit. Highly recommended

Sewerby Hall and Gardens is a lovely place to visit, beautiful gardens which seems to go for miles and the house ? is lovely and stunning front with views of the lawns and sea views.,
and they even have their own small zoo, which is good to see.
Theres also cafe and plenty of seating areas and also a children's park for them to play and picnic benches so you can have snacks while the kids are playing.
Reasonably priced too.
Parking can be a problem when its really busy like it was that day we went, but we waited and got lucky and got a space.

A lovely place for a family day out. Plenty for kids and grown ups to do and see. The kids really enjoyed the interactive story walk and the Lego dinosaurs which are currently dotted around the grounds.
There is only one toilet block which is near the entrance to the zoo so there could be quite a walk if you're elsewhere in the grounds.

It's a well worth time spent venue whether you are on your own, with your family, bunch of friends... there's so much to see and learn, the staff are amazing and will answer your questions or point you in the right direction. If I counted right there are two gift hops, gardens, mini Zoo, a restaurant called Clock Tower cafe and obviously most important the house itself. Carpark fees are included with ticket price and there's quite a few parking spots. The venue is dog friendly with some restrictions which are clearly stated on information boards.

Uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers something for everyone, from the magnificent gardens and zoo to the deep rooted heritage of the house.

Lovely afternoon visit, the house has a warmly lived in feeling unlike many other country houses. The zoo afforded a nice opportunity to get up close and observe the colourful birds and mammals. The highlight was observing the penguins feeding and learning about their individual personalities from their friendly keepers. The cafe serves satisfying lunch and the delicious hot chocolate was a hit. Overall a really enjoyable visit.

Garden, house, zoo, Lego dinosaurs, flowers and everything you could think of was superb. However, we were put off buying some ice-cream as we observed the staff member touching everything behind the till, handling all customer items, touching their own face etc and never following hygiene before touching ice-cream cones.
