As an Alumni, I feel very comfortable at the location. I am a little saddened about a few changes that I have noticed. There used to be smiling faces around the campus to make students, and families feel more secure. Now, it appears that the college has cut employees in favor of outsourcing particular jobs. This makes me consider other options for my children. A peaceful day of positive memories with a good environment, yet concerns about the future for others.

The hike is behind the college. There is a network of trails of varying lengths and difficulty! They do a great job of maintaining the trails! I think the Boy Scouts do quite a bit out there too! I recommend this hike!

Dalton State offers so many bachelor's degrees for professions that are in high demand in our area. The campus is beautiful with nature trails and a variety of plant and animal life. Professors and student life go the extra mile to help out with tutoring or workshops available almost daily.
