I signed up for the restart course feeling a little apprehensive and already demotivated with my previous job searches. My first appointment at the office was with Emma who had been assigned as my coach to support me back into work. Emma really took the time to ask all the right questions and was very understanding in exactly what my work goals were. This was very refreshing because I’d been out of work for a while but didn’t want to give up on my goals because I’d already invested time in the relevant courses to achieve the goals during the past year. Not only was Emma understanding she got straight on it and started sending me links to support my goals. It’s only been a few weeks and I’m getting calls and interviews booked in for the jobs I’m keen to start in. Emma has been understanding, supportive and motivating, she’s inspiring and a credit to this business and I strongly recommend Emma.

What can I say about Maximus employment and training. They are the worst organisation I have ever experienced. I attended the Work and Heath programme two years ago, and as a customer subjected to bullying, unrealistic expectations, lying, and false allegations, and staff seemed incapable of understanding your aspirations.

I am about to participate in the governments Restart scheme which is almost identical to the previous programme. However Restart provider guidelines section 8.12 state a participant cannot be mandated to any unpaid work experience, apply for paid employment, attend a job interview, or take up employment.

They also cannot mandate seeing you face to face or digitally, no less than two weekly, and no less than four weekly face to face.

Maximus is a organisation who helps people get a job or into an apprenticeship. If you are having hard time finding job because of not having enough qualfications or you couldn't finish your education fully then they can help you. And they don't charge you it is run by goverment.
