Stayed here for a total of 5 nights ( not all at once). We found it to be absolutely amazing. The hosts were lovely and so friendly. They gave us advice and directions to nearby areas. Huge room with great ensuite. Breakfast brilliant and service 2nd to none! Livio always had tea/coffee and snacks when we returned after a day out. Our room had french doors out to the yard where birds sang and squirrels played. All in all a wonderful experience.

We stumbled on this hotel by chance when frantically looking for a place to stay since my partner was too ill to drive us to Bath as planned. We'd had a great stay next-door the previous night at the Manor Farm, but they were booked that night, so we checked in here and were pleasantly surprised at the charm and size of the old house and the warm welcome of the owners. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. My favourite part was overlooking the garden from our room and watching the squirrels doing their acrobatic tricks to get to the nuts while I ate my own with a glass of wine in hand.

A fascinating place to stay, with photos and details about its history in the impressive reception and breakfast rooms. ||||Fabulous welcome from Livio on arrival, as well as tea and cake! ||||Our room was large, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a well-cooked full English.||||Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and look forward to going back. It would be an excellent base from which to explore.

Lovely stay at The Old School House.||Our room was huge and really comfy. Heated sheet in the bed which my wife loved.|Tea/coffee in room.||Lovely breakfast freshly cooked. Cereals as well.||Wonderful hosts.||Great value as well.||We would stay here again.

This is an excellent b&b. The rooms are outstanding. The welcome from Livio is warm and friendly and makes you feel at home immediately. Breakfast is served in the old school Hall with it's high ceilings, chandeliers and huge wood burner and is second to none. A very very well presented and affordable b and b.

The room was great; well furnished, comfortable and had a great view of the grounds.||The owners were great hosts and breakfast was excellent. Also, the owners did a masterful job of decorating the common area and dining room, the historical artifacts were amazing.||It is a convenient, about thirty minute drive to Stonehenge.

We have an electric vehicle and phoned ahead to enquire about charging. When we arrived in the dark and the rain someone came out and showed us where to park so that we could plug in. We were then brought tea and cake from the kitchen. Room was new recent build done in a sensitive manner with another plate of cakes under clingfilm. We had breakfast in the old part of the building in a room wonderfully decorated and tastefully furnished with many period items that would not have looked out of place in a National Trust property

What a wonderful place we stumbled on by accident the room was large and very comfortable we were welcomed with open arms. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with grapefruit cereals lovely cooked English. What a place and would highly recommend. All this for £80 family room. Thank you and will be back
