Terrible organisation that treats disabled students/applicants as if they’re lower than dirt. There’s zero communication from the college from beginning to end, the lecturers are rude, incompetent and downright useless - plus - the car park is dangerous with so many reckless drivers. Don’t study here.

Terrible college, I cannot stress enough do not do electronic engineering here! I've been there two years, no decent lecturer at the start and only got a good lecturer in the last month or so, who left because of how badly run it is.
There were multiple other apprentices from different companies in my class and I believe every single company has found another education provider, that should tell you something.

I wouldn't go back if you paid me...
I did 5 years at the college all in different sectors of engineering, and every year was worst than the last. The previous head of Engineering was difficult but the new head is out right useless.
The other apprentices and I struggled for years to get through these courses. Constantly fighting to get real lecturers, information needed for our assignments, and even just replies to our emails. Even now, we can't seem to find out what's happened to our certificates... something we as apprentices are relaying on for our careers.
This college (particularly the engineering) shows now regard at all for the education of their students.

No one should have to fight this hard to receive even a basic standard of education. I have no idea how they haven't been shut down already.

I strongly recommend you choose somewhere else if you actually want a chance at getting your qualifications.

Would not recommend this college after studying for 4 years I watched the college slowly decline in regards to the staff at the college many were rude and did not understand their students needs. On top of this staff higher up such as safeguarding picked on students and always made sure to pick on minor issues with some students but let larger issues go for other students. Finally the well being at the campus was not helpful and in many cases very patronising nor did they listen to what students were saying.

The rudest receptionists I have ever come across. WC should be ashamed of yourselves.

I currently study here and find it really good the tutors are nice and friendly and deal with any issues you may have. Foods good and reasonable price for students too. Throughly enjoy my days at the college each week. Can't wait to start my second year next week.

I have had the opportunity to live and work all around the world and settled in the California Bay Area (Silicon Valley). My journey all started here when it was called Chippenham Technical College. I am forever thankful to my tutor, Viv Sherman, and all the other professors who helped me raise my potential. When you find yourself flipping burgers or serving tea thinking "this is not for me", you can do yourself a favor by starting here on your journey.

My latest GCSE Maths teacher rushed through lessons and skipped teaching us subjects because most of us (in their words) 'wouldn't be able to acheive higher than a grade 4 anyway' we told them we still wanted to learn it but they didn't care. They also told a student who was struggling that they 'didnt have time to explain again' and to teach herself at home on estudy. In some ways they were a good teacher but not in others. I think it's really rude and unprofessional to basically tell your students that it isn't worth teaching them the things they need to get the higher marks. I tried to raise my concerns about that and other matters with another member of staff, but I was not listened to and instead was just made to feel stupid. My English GCSE teacher was great and so was my previous maths teacher.
