A great event, well planned and very friendly team who answered all of my daft questions.
Transition didn’t close, and very relaxed cut off times…. If there were any?
Amazing cakes and coffee, and the setting is just out of a film.

Absolutely lovely lake swim at Compton Verney - my first time here.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I felt at ease, and not at all embarrassed by my very slow pace. The venue is beautiful. Definitely recommended.
And they have hot drinks and cakes for sale - I didn't partake, but the cakes looked delicious!

This was my first open water swim and although I was excited I was also a little apprehensive - mainly about the cold water!! I was really impressed with the care shown to the newbies to make sure we all knew what to expect, felt safe and had an enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be going back. Awesome cakes at the end too ?

Fantastic first experience at open water swimming. Very easy to book, really welcoming and informative. Safe environment. Felt no pressure to swim at a certain pace. Lake was busy, but had plenty of room to swim. Safety paramount, we were checking in and out and even got a helping hand to get out after my swim! Thank you, planning on coming every week now.

This is definitely one tick off my bucket list! I love swimming in an outside pool but had never in my 62 years swam in a lake. I was pretty nervous, mainly because you can’t see what’s beneath you and I had a fear of being wrapped up in reeds or something unknown brushing past me! ?. I need not have worried at all! I really enjoyed my swim in between the fast triathletes and more leisurely swimmers I found my pace. Braved putting my face and head into the cool but clean water and swam a few times around the bouys. Everyone there was super helpful and made sure I was comfortable before going in and spotters in kayaks checked on me. Loved it. Highly recommend. Feel the fear and do it anyway. Glad I did. ?

Wow! What an amazing place! The location is stunning, the water is so clean. The organisation is second to none, warm welcome, clear instructions, excellent safety plans in place.
We went as a group, some first time ever open water swim. The course was clearly marked with huge buoys, help getting in and out the water was available and we all just loved every minute. It's not local to us but we are definately going again! Many thanks to all involved espcially the tea and cakes bit... ?

I had a great first experience Open Water Swimming with Do3 at Compton Verney.
The organisation was excellent and as a first timer, or for anyone who may be feeling a little unsure, it all felt very safe with plenty of friendly faces in and around the lake.
The setting is lovely and it was topped off with some sun ☀️
