This school is a complete thieves, be careful. They are trying to make money without working hard. They made a deduction for the deposit I made, even though they did nothing. They are greedy for small numbers. Maria and Danielle, who work at the call center, are very incompetent in creating solutions. The aim is not to produce solutions and gain students, but only to make unfair profits. I didn't think this school could be so unprofessional.

I've been there in 2013, and it's been the best year of my life (I came from France).

The staff and teachers are great. Not a lot of European people, but it's been great to meet so many nationalities.

The school is pretty clean and well located ?

I don't know how things has evolved since 2013, but I can tell that I really suggest this school to anyone who wants to learn English with great quality teaching.

Studying for 6 months at Kaplan Berkeley was a beautiful experience, there are excellent teachers who are always willing to help you improve your English, with their extracurricular activities you can practice your English with your classmates from other countries and at the same time get to know and enjoy beautiful places in San Francisco, their staff is made up of great people that I will always remember Robert, Shiho and Kathryn, friendly and always willing to help you. I definitely recommend Kaplan Berkeley

Great staff and friendly students! The school director is super nice and she creates a nice environment for all students. This school is located in a city filled with lots of good food and fun things to do. I really enjoyed my time here! I highly recommend this school if you want to have fun while improving your English.

Berkeley is a really attractive city, and the weather is splendid here. Also, UCB is here so you can enter the campus anytime you want and it's around 5 minutes walking there from Kaplan. I feel anxious because it's my first time to come abroad, but the staff really helps me a lot.

My experience with this school was very poor. I paid on behalf of an international student who was subsequently denied the US visa required to attend. I had already made a payment of thousands of dollars to the school, and in order to get reimbursed, they would not work with me, only with the potential student. This is ridiculous because it was me who made the payment, and what if the student and I had a falling out? Thankfully that wasn't the case for me, however it was still a struggle to get the money returned.

The Kaplan staff, particularly Carlos Pena, was extremely unprofessional with me on the phone and they were all completely unresponsive via email.

The student I had paid for, after suffering the insult of being denied the visa, had to contact Kaplan many times in order to get my money returned to me, it took around 50 days to finally receive it, a long time to wait for thousands of dollars!

There are other international schools, I recommend to anyone that they apply to one of the others and NOT Kaplan.

This school have a great staff, a good building and a good program to learn english. The class in general are interesting and the teacher try to help always. The town is also a nice place with a good weather. I recommend to study english and to know people of a different countries.
