We had a beautiful Sunday dinner here today for my Granny's birthday. The staff were lovely and welcoming however in the barn restaurant their wasn't always someone on hand.
The main courses were beautiful. Definitely one of the better roast dinners I've had locally. Only complaint was the pannacotta for dessert was tasteless and had a weird pasty texture. Didn't even taste of cream it had absolutely no discernable flavor, very strange. Next time get the sticky toffee or crumble which looked great!

Came here for a spur of the moment lunch on Christmas eve with friends. We were welcomed immediately. Food was superb and friendly service. Will definitely visit again!

A very nice hotel with friendly staff and very happily situated in the centre of Corbridge. Nice room with all amenities. We had both dinner and cooked breakfast, and it was lovely. Great atmosphere. The only minus point was that our room was in need of some TLC, nevertheless great value for your money.

We had an excellent meal at the Angel. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented . The staff were really friendly and helpful . We would highly recommend it .lots of local produce and interesting flavours.

We ate here (didn't stay) to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was great. The food was good, everyone enjoyed themselves and the service was absolutely excellent.

The only member of staff we really saw was a very nice young lady.|Our room was dated & tired. The carpet needs a good shampoo. One chair was badly stained. The bed was clean & comfortable.|Our main issue was the tiny bathroom. I've never seen a macerator in a hotel before. (I know they're no good for No 2's) The area was extremely cramped your knees almost touching the heated towel rail..|There appeared to be piles of used laundry & bags of rubbish left lying around for a few hours.|The stair & lounge carpet desperately needs to replaced, really dirty.

Perfectly situated close to the town centre, this inn is very welcoming. The staff were excellent. There was ample room in the car park which seems to be controlled efficiently.|The food was wonderful and the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. I was a little concerned that I was allocated a dog friendly room when I thought I’d booked a non-dog room. However, everything was so clean and there was no odour or evidence of dog, I decided it was fine. A nice touch was the fridge on the landing with fresh milk for tea making. There were supposed to be jugs there but there weren’t and non appeared either that night or the following morning. I just took the milk to my room and then took it back again. It was only a minor thing. I mentioned these concerns on check out and they were very apologetic and concerned. In fairness they were very busy. Breakfast was superb.|I only stayed one night but I would definitely stay there again if I needed to be in Corbridge and I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
