A small museum but more to see than I expected. Lots of useful and interesting information and the modern display didn't overwhelm the historic building, unlike in some museums. And it was free, which is always a good thing! A very enjoyable half hour.

Short and sweet visit with grandchildren. An intro to local history for them, and a 1st time there for me. What a lovely building, more a mansion than a house. Beautiful Jacobean rooms.

The owner was very accommodating. He fulfilled my every need. At the end he did in fact give me a refund because he accidentally broke my back.
