One of the best English tearooms I’ve visited so far. I might be tripping but I believe the clotted cream is homemade. It’s just so good, creamy and milky, not the fatty kind that feels unhealthy.

The dorset apple cake is amazing. A warm hug in your mouth, so soft, sweet, and aromatic. The cream tea seems to be very popular. My friend was lucky to get the last scone of that day.

The ice cream comes in the honeycomb, the chocolate mint, and the vanilla flavors.

Coffee is great. You can see the barista lady work the coffee machine so elegantly and fast.

I would love to go back!

Great place for young and old to visit. Option to have the audio tour with stop off points to listen in. Corfe castle is built on a 55ft hill and being 21ft in height it would have been magnificent in its day. The walk to the entrance is fairly easy. Once through the entrance then there are grassed areas to pic nic on an also play the wooden games laid out by the national trust.
The castle area rises with lots of steps and stone pathways so not accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
The views from inside the castle of the countryside are stunning.
There are quite a few pubs an cafe around the area to get drinks and food.

We had a lovely day here yesterday. The Castle is part of the National Trust which can be a bit pricey for non-members unless you can find a free pass offer on line. For 2 adults and a child was Β£30. Under 5's get in for free and unfortunately no senior citizen discount but it was still a jolly day out. The staff were so friendly, and they had set up a teddy bear zip line for the children with a Bravery certificate to be had on exit. We loved exploring the castle grounds. The views and the tranquil sounds of the river were an amazing experience and a perfect place to sit and enjoy our packed lunch (there is a cafe by the entrance). We were also lucky to get a good view of the steam train passing by.

Wonderful little place. We didn't eat here but the setting is wonderful for an afternoon tea. Loved the little walkways through the garden, with things to spot everywhere.

We had such a lovely time at the model village and gardens. My first ever model village! It's very impressive. Can't imagine all the work that has gone in to it. You can see the love!
Was really good to have it be dog friendly too and they both had a lot of fun too.

Where else will you see a 1/20th model of what the castle would have looked like. Just as impressive are the East and West streets with the excellent St Edward church model. A small site but the models are superb. Excellent cafΓ© which allows dogs. Lovely hot chocolate and a good selection of cakes. Friendly staff, and a small selection of gifts in the shop.

Oh where to start... Oh, $18. Way too much for what I got.

It was jammed. No tables outside. Waited 20 minutes to get to the front of the line to order my food, I was crunched into a corner table literally next to the toilet. My only entertainment was listening to their conversations and watching them wiggle around. I suppose that is something.

They used skim milk for my latte which made it taste like watery crud. They forgot my food and after 15 minutes I had to get up and get someone's attention in the back to ask about it. No one stop by my table to see how I was doing and when I tried to get someone's attention, the ignored me. When I finally got my food, it wasn't heated all the way through. Cold quiche. Ick. The coleslaw was clearly store bought and the handful of salad greens were straight out of a cellophane bag.

They also sell a cream tea scone. I saw several people with them and they were bad. Didn't even look like a scone. How cheesy cheap can you get with the mini skule amount of jam and clotted cream which I'm not sure was clotted cream. It looked just like whipped cream. I don't know. Is that the Dorset version of cream tea?

I know this review isn't going to hurt them because they are overwhelmed with customers, but if you have a choice and you see this review, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Beautiful gardens greet you as you enter. I visited yesterday with my 2 Gr kids & they loved looking at all the little houses, so well kept. The fairy trail too & the wild area with its bamboo style huts. The games were loved by them as well especially Jenga. Nice resting areas for those who want to sit & relax a while & a cafe for simple snacks & lovely Marshfield ice creams. We all enjoyed our time there.
