A quite beautiful ruin and is located up a short driveway and once at the car parking area, it becomes evident that there is space for roughly 3 cars.
There is a sign asking for visitors to pay by phone for parking.... £2.
Once in, there is not a huge amount to see but what you do see are some very impressive ruins in a lovely location.
There are a few seats dotted around and I would not hesitate to bring a picnic to this place.
There are some very useful informative boards around explaining the history of the Abbey.
All in all, about 30 minutes worth of your time required and is free to enter.

What a gem of a place, made even better as free to visit, apart from a £2 parking charge. Spent a good hour here, even though it was a grey day with slight rain falling.

Shame the lodge buildings are privately owned, so cannot be seen, but otherwise I enjoyed this. There are picnic tables and a boom shop, with information boards around the ruins.

So peaceful. Would be even better on a sunny day!

Beautiful ruins with greatly preserved parts giving a glimpse of the amazing look it once had. Free entry, little kiosk closed so thr best way to purchase any books, magnets or even wine is to travel a little bit further up the road to Wenlock Priory

Nice little place with good history. Unfortunately has felt the force of weather over the past few years and has led to areas being cordoned off. Quite small so wouldn't spend more than 40ish minutes there.

Gorgeous little abbey out in the middle of nowhere. There’s room for about 4 cars in the car park and it’s unmanned, no shop however it is a lovely place to explore or take a picnic.

This place was so cool. A random ruin, and to be able to walk around and through it was moving.

Such a beautiful place to visit. Entry is free, parking is only £2 if you are not a national trust member. Reading the history of this place on the boards dotted around was so interesting and to walk inside the rooms that monks once resided in hundreds of years ago, was such a surreal experience. If you are nearby, it is a must see.
