YHA Leominster is a mixed bag. Great location for exploring Herefordshire. Rooms were OK but lots of little issues like no soap in bathrooms, hoover not working, light switches broken etc. We had exclusive hire but the self-catering kitchen was woefully under provisioned. We also had a boiler issue but no engineer on call so had an evening without heating or hot water. It was fixed the next morning.

YHA Leominster is 10 minutes walk from the train station so really easy to get to even if you don't drive and is a really lovely little hostel. Myself and friends have booked the whole hostel out for three years running now and it's perfect for a large group.

The management are on site but with whole venue hires mostly will leave you to it, it's tucked behind the church so very quiet and out of the way, sleeps up to 30 people in varying bed setups and includes disabled access and a few family rooms.

There's a nice big kitchen with pretty much everything you need, plenty of room for eating and some sofas in the communal area too. There's also games which kept our party occupied for a good chunk of the evening.

Overall an excellent hostel!

Great hostel and when I was there looked after by a volunteer warden (Mary) she was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in a two man room that was comfortable and the catering facilities were good as well. Just be aware that the church clock chimes throughout the night (and it is right by the hostel)!

I brought my 6 year old grad daughter to Leominster Youth Hostel for her first stay at a Youth Hostel. She really enjoyed it and loved our room and walk-in shower. She was delighted to sleep in the top bunk and felt safe to know that I was in the bed below her on her first time away without her parents. I am delighted Leominster Youth Hostel gave her such a positive impression of Youth Hostelling.

quiet hostel on both nights even though one night full one nearly empty. well located in quiet part of town but very close to good range of shops, museum and nice park, river walk. well located for exploring hereford, worcester, ludlow, hay etc. Rooms are basic as expected and no where to easily sit unless you have top bunk, self catering was good (even larger mugs and bowls). Larger dining, lounge area and a small study, lounge room (Tv wouldn t work but it had a few useful books and novels). somewhere to lock bike and staff proactively helpful (garish cycle kit gave me away).

The hostel itself is a lovely building in a beautiful county. Rooms are pretty spacious for a YHA too!||||The hostel entrance isn't clear from the road, so when you get to the church, drive between it and the council office car park on your left. This will take you down a lane to behind the offices, where you can park and will see the YHA entrance.||||Church bells chime every half hour, but won't wake you up unless you're a very light sleeper. Go in there during the day and find the old ducking stool! Croft Castle also worth a visit is you like some history, walks, and a stunning view.

This simple youth hostel is brilliantly situated for the centre of Leominster, tucked away behind the abbey. It is spotless with very good self-catering facilities and an all- in- one dining/games/sitting area. Very quiet locality yet very close to all facilities.
