Facility is let down by unscrupulous parking company!

I visited the Point 4 for an event in September. When I arrived there were no parking spaces. I followed the other cars to an area behind the facility where other cars had parked. This was on a grassed area not in a car park. I checked with the lady on reception if it was ok to park there and this was confirmed. I then received a parking fine. I have explained that I was unable to get a space in the car park and that there were was no signage in the area and the car parking company have threatened to raise the fine.

I won't be attending events here in the future and will be recommending other don't either

I play in the netball league here. Great facility. Shame about the parking on the way into the carpark.

Have been a member since January and cannot fault the staff and or the gym. Everybody has been super friendly and helpful, particularly Jack, Lewis and Megan. Having smiley and helpful staff really does make the whole experience much more enjoyable especially if you are slightly nervous to join initially! The gym itself is always very clean and tidy and plenty of equipment to use! Very glad me and my sister joined the point4 and would highly recommend to anybody in the area wanting to sign up😁

The coffee (Costa?) and the service were both uninspiring. Music too loud. Can't comment on the gym. The seating area was comfortable, clean and spacious; this wouldn't tempt me to return, sadly.

The gym itself is great and I loved going there for a couple of years but when I had to cancel my membership because I moved away I received quite a few conflicting messages.
First, I was told via email that there is a 30 day cancellation and one month direct debit will be taken from my account. Okay, that's fine. On my final visit then, the receptionists told me that they stopped with direct debits a while ago and I wouldn't be charged. Based on that information I signed up with another gym. Come following month, I was actually charged and ended up paying for two memberships!
At the start of my membership, I was also told that I would be receiving my £5 deposit for the band back that you have to have with your membership if I end the membership. Again when cancelling, receptionist told me that they don't give a deposit back anymore and the £5 is basically my joining fee. That's not what I was advised of when I joined!
Really disappointed with all the conflicting information from the Point4 and sadly I won't ever return to them.

We hire this facility on a regular basis to play wheelchair rugby league, the staff are always friendly and helpful, there is plenty of parking and the building and facilities are in very good order. the showers have quite possibly the best water pressure i have ever seen!
