My favourite martial arts club in town.
i am doing jiu-jitsu, mma, and ladies' self-defense class with nicky here

Lovely coaches, very friendly and supportive environment, top quality coaches, nice place and facilities.
In the past, i tried a few martial arts places, but in my opinion, The Combat Academy is the best
Me and my daughter love this place.

Note: for ladies or basic beginners who want to try martial arts.. do not worry 🙂 they have a variety of beginner classes
Nicky, chris, dave, and all coaches are very patient and lovely!

Nicky is super professional and helpful! She is very reactive and lets you take breaks if you need to, and is always considerate. You are encouraged to build up stamina, but the training is always catered to your own pace, whether you're a beginner or an experienced person. Lovely club, and very fun! Would recommend to anyone. :))

Love coming to Nikki’s self defence on Wednesday’s. The academy is very welcoming and open to all, coaches are super supportive for everyone and you can tell they love what they do. Women who want to train but also have a fun time definitely should come and try it out on Wednesdays too.

A professional, friendly and supportive environment to learn various mixed martial arts.
The training coaches are so supportive and they have a class to suit all abilities. Nicky holds a ladies self defence class on a Wednesday which is so fun!

TCA is not only a fantastic place to train with skilled and enthusiastic instructors but also friendly. Newcomers are welcomed and whilst the atmosphere is always encouraging development it is inclusive of all ages and abilities. It is fantastic to train with such a lovely group of people. Fully recommend for bjj, MMA and women's self defence/ fitness.

Trained here a few times while working locally and was welcomed by all, Clean gym with a lot of experienced people that are more than willing to help and guide you no matter your experience, age or abilities, all round genuine team with no ego just positivity, experience and respect by all.
Will definitely be visiting again when in the area

I went down to the BJJ open mat today. Everyone at the club was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend dropping in for a session if you are in the area or from the area.
