It was unstaffed this evening but still felt comfortable and safe. Returning books is straightforward. The automatic system works fine. And there's a good variety of daytime clubs and groups including weekly Scrabble and poetry.

Staff really helpful, computers available to use, though good idea to book a time slot. Plenty of books to browse.
Update..... Building works are completed with the addition of a meeting room for groups.
Always a warm welcome.

Cromer Library

Located within easy reach of the town centre and the Meadow car park the library offers much more than the lending of books.
Situated in an old chapel everything is situated on the ground floor giving good wheelchair and pushchair access to all areas. In addition there is a study area on a mezzanine floor.
It plays an important role in the community providing a meeting place for various groups and activities.
As well as traditional books you can borrow audio books, either via the internet or CDs. For a small fee you can also hire DVDs. There is always a jigsaw or two on the go as well as several computers for browsing the internet or word processing.
The library also hosts various activities that bring people together who share similar interests.
The library is run by friendly, competent staff who make every effort to ensure your visit is a positive one.
Libraries play an important role in the life of any town and this one goes out of its way to provide value for money.
Use it or lose it!
