Something is really wrong here. When I reported a persistent, worsening stomach pain, I was told that the doctor could see me in over a month. This is really an exaggeration and playing with our health and lives. Another time, when I drove up to them with information that a corrosive substance had been sprayed in my eye and that I needed help (for someone to see my eye), I was offered a telephone consultation in a few hours. I feel safe and secure with such care. Maybe I need to contact "Doctors Without Borders" - since medical care in Crewkerne looks like in "third world" countries.

Apparently you can't just walk in and book an appointment at crewkerne health centre you have to phone how useless is that!?!! Doing their best to not be busy 11.00am and deserted!! But can't even remember to phone my brother back whose having a mental health crisis, talk about working for themselves not the public

Change GP before you encounter an issue!!!!

I had an important medication removed from repeat prescriptions with no notice, conversation or consent - I had a medication review the same week and this was not discussed! This was reinstated after a strongly worded email with the intention to follow up with PALS. Was happy to move on once resolved as understood from communications with the surgery it was likely an administrative error.

Today, I tried to order my typical prescription through My Patient Access (the party I used for several years prior to moving to this surgery and ever since moving 7 months ago) to find I am no longer able to order medication via this site. Again, no communication or notification.

I don't understand why an automatic generic message can't be sent for the above issues?

2 problems with accessing life saving medication within a couple of weeks if beyond unacceptable. Absolutely fed up with the shoddy service.

Don’t use this surgery they lie to u. I said that I had someone call me but missed the call back so wanted to find out when they were going to call me back and Hannah told me that there was no call from the docs and there was because I checked my sky calls and there was a call from them she denied it completely and was really rude and obnoxious and there is an American lady that works there and she was exactly the same rude ignorent they have no care for anyone but themselves the surgery is a joke so glad I removed myself from this surgery

Just don’t understand how an annual check has to be done based on my answers on Anima and photos , where it used to be a face to face. Plus no messages from the surgery to say results are in , it is very much like a self service checkout now . We understand the lack of qualified medical professionals but it’s just a waiting game now to see if any one responds. Thankfully my hospital team are brilliant.

I rang to make an appt for a blood test to be told that as this was requested by my consultant then Crewkerne Health Centre no longer supports this and I was told I need to go to a walk in clinic instead. My kidneys are failing and this causes mobility issues for me. So now I have to get myself to Yeovil Hospital (I don't drive due to health). It won't change anything but I'm very disappointed with this latest change.

Told this afternoon (after 45 minutes on the phone) that for hospital requested blood tests, I have to attend South Petherton. Are you going to pay my taxi fare ? Apparently this has been the case for 2 months now. I was not informed of this when I tried to book same blood test (only 1 month ago) and was told they couldn't book that far ahead.
You have '12' listed GP's, so how about more nurses.
I really do feel your website needs to reflect this rule. Good luck to those in their 70's and 80's with no transport or family to assist them. Absolutely crazy.

Hopefully Chase Medical found yourselves another GP. Not a bad rate of pay.

You hear a lot of negative comments about Crewkerne Health Centre, but my recent experiences have been very positive. Using the Anima online system is quick and efficient; within less than an hour, I received a message informing me of my appointment.

When I arrived at Middle Path, the receptionist was lovely. Although the GP was running a bit late (about 20 minutes), it was completely understandable. The doctor was very nice and professional, and my consultation took about 15 minutes. I was able to quickly book a blood test for the following week with the receptionist before I left.

From reading some of the below comments and social media posts, I think we all need to take a moment to reflect. Despite all the changes and challenges, our surgery is doing its best to provide healthcare to our community with a very limited budget and resources (the same situation across all of England).

The only negative thing I would mention is that the building looks quite dated and isn't very functional. With all the new houses being built in Crewkerne, they need to expand urgently.

But other than that, thank you, Crewkerne Health Centre, for being a pillar in our community and for all the hard work you are doing.
