My daughter has been riding here for almost a year and we are so pleased with her progress. We tried other stables in the local area but Downclose is far superior. The facilities are fantastic, offering both an indoor and outdoor school, the staff are friendly and helpful and the quality of teaching from Ella, Ellen and Katie is superb. Downclose also host regular competitions, shows and half-term activities which my daughter really enjoys 🙂

Attended 'fun' show today with children and their ponies. I was very disappointed to find the in each showing class the same riding school ponies were placed in the top 4 places. In the veteran class the rider of the pony placed first was wearing wellingtons, trousers and a tshirt. I will not be attending again or recommending it to anyone
