Mark Phung and the other instructors are fantastic with children. My two daughters (both under 11) love their Brazilian Ju Jitsu classes at FMA.

The gym has recently been completely refurbished and is the perfect place for developing Martial Arts skills. Good facilities and ample free parking 🙂

I thoroughly recommend Farnham Martial Arts.

After first visiting Farnham Martial Arts to take my son (5) for a “taster session” I was impressed.

I was struck with how much people really enjoy martial arts, how people of all ages get along with the common goal of bettering themselves.

I was met with happy welcoming faces from the first visit, which I credit to the positive environment combined with exemplary teaching staff.

The whole set up is very professional and spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is an equal balance of fun and discipline.

In short my son now goes twice a week and is always talking about how much he likes Ju Jitsu and he loves the instructor (Mark, who is excellent with pupils of all ages)

I also go twice a week to the beginner BJJ class, it’s great for anyone looking to try something new (I’m 44 and was surprised that this is an entirely common age bracket for martial arts).

Along with great techniques I’ve learned how much fun this all is and getting fitter and slimmer is almost a given with regular attendance.

Give it a go!

Our daughter has been training here for 6 months and has only got better by the week! Mark is patient with the children but firm with them when needed. Our daughter is very fond of him which I think is important when it comes to coaching children. We look forward to her sessions each week! the parents are friendly, we love how you become a big family at Farnham Martial Arts.

Myself and 2 of my children have been coming here for a year doing the BJJ classes, for me it’s been life changing, I’m in better shape than Iv ever been and Iv made some really great friends.. all the coaches are great and the whole place is very welcoming.

My children love it too, Mark is brilliant with them, making the kids classes fun whilst teaching them discipline, responsibility and respect

I 100% recommend people come and try out one of the beginners classes, you won’t be disappointed

I can't recommend Farnham Martial Arts highly enough! Since joining, I've seen a remarkable transformation in my boys. Fantastic gym, top quality instructors and a really great group of people who train there, various ages too, made me feel very welcome.
The 1st class was free, so if it wasn't for you it doesn't cost you anything!
Highly recommend, it's great for fitness and weight loss too.

My 4 year old started BJJ with Farnham Martial Arts a few months ago and it’s been brilliant for him. In a short space of time he’s made big progressions with his confidence and physical abilities. The coaching is fantastic, Mark is brilliant with the little ones, and the wider community is very friendly and supportive.
