I am a very mature student and both my daughters go to the university. I really like it, specifically the quality of the lecturing and support staff, the connections to industry, the laboratory facilities and it’s a nice place. The halls of residence are well kept and very good value 2022/23.
For balance, there is very little student on site parking, there is a big council park and a shuttle bus, but if you go in the middle of the day the shuttles are only every hour. The catering is good quality but doesn’t seem very subsidised .
I would recommend studying there.

There is a very quiet path beside Darby university, The two fields are full of plants and big trees. There is also a stream. There is a couple of swans and a group of ducks living here. There are squirrels in the trees.

I really enjoyed walking here.

This is a great campus to study at, great facilities for those studying here. Lecturers are friendly and teach effectively and the security team are more than welcoming to assist those who need their assistance, same with the reception team.

a really nice campus fantastic print bureau and fantastic staff that are always helpful and on the ball, and fantastic, understanding and passionate security staff that has helped shape my final year of my amazing experience at the University of Derby without them I would not have seen through my final year of studies as they have resolved every issue I have had and are very friendly when passing!!

Pleasant folk, friendly helpful staff. Clean and well located to amenities. Easy to commute to the centre.
