Was left sitting in cafeteria for induction which never happened. Was not informed of how the booking process worked (have to be finger ready at 6am when classes are made available). I discovered this while waiting for my non induction. When asked for a refund was told that I was not entitled as I signed up in the centre and not online! Was charged full price too even though NHS discount was agreed. Still waiting for the sales manager to call me back but I shall not hold my breath.
After posting this review the sales manager did call me and has agreed to give me a full refund. Also was informed that I did indeed have the NHS discount but still worked out more expensive than the regular plan

Neglected polluted beach, rubbish, plastic, black oil etc potentially can be amazing if invested in it.. Recreational center is with a very small pool. Miserably no view there to see the sea . Not very good to be in the beach coffee shops abd can't see water. Just closed area.. Needs a visionary thinking in the brilliant promising area. A lot can be done..

My daughter had a first swimming lesson today (4pmish) and I hadn't been here before. The 2 ladies behind the front desk couldn't be more helpful with directions and what goggles I should buy for my daughter. Both literally burst with 5* customer service!
And the lady in the cafe was the same she was so friendly, polite, chatty and brilliant with my 2 kids!

If you are going to visit the Gormley iron men on Cosby beach you need a cafe.
Cafe in sports centre did nice range of seasonal hot chocolates and coffees
Warm seating area overlooking pool.
Friendly staff.
Car parking available here too

I love this walk. The Merseyside estuary coast is a alluring combination of history,industrial docklands, sand dunes And modern art. On a day with bright blue autumnal sky's it's a wonderful place to walk.

Didn’t go swimming but pool looked ok
Location is right next to the beach and the cafe hot chocolate was probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had

Very friendly staff, some fantastic classes, very good range of equipment and a nice pool. Facilities are fantastic I do between 4 to 7 sessions per day and easily get my monies worth 😉 Has recently had lots of new equipment installed and created new activities. 👍 There are some addition classes in 2024, a daytime Zumba and an aqua Zumba class amongst others.
