Starting my jiujitsu journey with Professor Stalone has probably been the best decision I have ever made in my life.

Finding a sport that suits my needs is one thing, but finding a team to do the sport with is another. I’ve felt nothing but love and support since my journey started in November and I have seen huge improvements on not only my fitness but my social skills too.

It has given me confidence to strive towards things that I never thought I would do, jiujitsu being one of them and then competing in jiujitsu the next. The support provided to achieve has been second to none and I couldn’t be more grateful.

If you are looking to start, do not wait around. You’ll be just as annoyed as me that you didn’t start with Stalone sooner.

Jiujitsu is for everyone.

This is the place. From the moment I joined this academy I felt welcome. I had wanted to start BJJ for some time and thought I’d give the free class a go… I haven’t looked back since. It’s self defence/combat training and fitness all boxed into one and frankly may be the most addictive sport out there. The people who train here are awesome and the coaches/professors are clued up like you wouldn’t believe 🤙🏼

Training BJJ is one of the best decisions that I ever made.
In addition to keeping me fit, I noticed that it reduced my stress level and makes me feel good.
I was nervous to start off so in the beginning I was attending just to ladies class but soon I felt comfortable with everyone.
People there are great, they are all very friendly and they are always pleased to help you.
All the professors and coaches are amazing, they are really passionate about the sport and enjoy sharing their skills with all of us.
I feel very lucky to have found Professor Stalone's Academy. I would highly recommend not just his academy but to give this sport a try.

My five year old started going to BJJ in January and loves it. He goes three times a week and has absolutely no hesitation about going at all. I saw how much fun he was having and decided to give it a go myself. I wish I’d started years ago. The school is great and I’m now a very happy member of an incredibly tight knit group of friends. The type of friends who try choking each other out a few times a week.

Going up the stairs for the first time is incredibly daunting. After that though, you’re climbing them to your happy place.

I have trained at Professor Stalone’s academy since it opened, travelling 40 minutes to get there. It is a fantastic academy with amazing supportive students and a world class leader. As a small middle aged woman, I have never felt uncomfortable training with anyone, as the respect for fellow students is paramount within the academy. I would highly recommend it for fitness, self confidence, self defence and meeting lovely people.
