The environment of the college is very open which allows for many places to walk around with many seating areas dotted around. The on-site Starbucks is also a great addition to the college allowing students to get refreshments and snacks when they please. During my time here I studied L3 Creative Media at this College for 2 years and have loved every moment. The course tutors are professional and certainly know a lot about the Adobe Creative Suite apps used in this course. When I needed assistance they were always there willing to provide help and give useful feedback which has helped me to improve projects I have been working on. The overall course has allowed me to gain knowledge of using industry-standard applications and allows students to use them throughout the course.

For anyone interested in creative media, I can't recommend this course enough.

The college overall has a nice atmosphere, with a reasonably spaced out campus and plenty of room to get your steps in. The wellbeing team are awesome too, so if you need them for any reason they're always there to help. I studied the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media and Production and I can safely say that if you're remotely interested in this subject area then you really don't need to hesitate to apply. You are supported throughout your college journey by the experienced tutors with all elements of the course, including the hands on projects with the high tech equipment. As someone who was looking to get into the creative media industry, this course has allowed me to narrow down my interests and enhance the skills needed for life after college and prepare you for the world of work or University.

Wouldn't recommend the Creative Media course, as after being on this course for 3 years I found the tutors to be unprofessional and bring up topics that shouldn't be brought into lessons. As they made me lose focus on my work, therefore not being able to complete work to a high enough standard. Also I had an incident at college and I was called names by staff and continued to be picked on about this incident.

I went to the college for 2 years and enjoyed my experience but my second year I studied business and everyone was slowly dropping out because of how one of the teachers treated us - Tracey Hewitt. I have really bad anxiety and she knew and got told yet decided to shout / swear at me because I asked to do one of my video assignments with the other teacher instead of her because she is judgmental I feel bad for saying that but I tried to get along with Tracey because obviously I wanted a good year but I felt like I was just walking on egg shells and so did everyone else and that’s why everyone left then there was only I believe 5 of us but we all really didn’t enjoy the lessons because of her.

If you're looking for a practical college which is to prepare you for employment and treats every student like equals then this is the college for you. I guess it depends what department you go to in order to get your opinion on the college but I've studied courses in both IT and the Fitness and can honestly say the IT department stinks and the tutors seemed to have no intention of helping you pass the course where as the Fitness department was the total opposite and the lecturers gave good banter and seemed overall extremely knowledgeable. Research into what line of work you're wanting to go into before attending a course and ask friends or people who have been before on their opinion and maybe you'll enjoy your time there.

I went to North Lindsey for 3 years and a score of 2.2 is very unfair to the college. There were shortcomings, but these were mostly the other students and nothing to do with the teachers or the college itself.

Food is overpriced in the canteen but the staff are all lovely and willing to help.
