Pupils at my school enjoyed a fun-filled, exhilarating and highly energetic morning of enrichment workshops with Zest Dance. The children (and staff!) explored different cultures as they learnt a variety of dance styles and techniques. They loved creating and performing their own sequences at the end. Came across the Bollywood instructional video on YouTube and am using it with my FS2 preschool class to delve into the International world of Dance and practice it for performing to parents/carers on Diversity Day here in Dubai! So simple and well taught for the age it directed at. Emailed to find out the music used and got it plus a heap of other ones, so helpful, thank you so much 🙏🏻😁

The African drumming workshops were amazing! We all had such a great time kids and adults alike! We were all so engrossed and really learnt lots. It was amazing to see that most of our youth stayed for the duration of the workshop. Seneke was amazing at allowing the workshop to be as open as possible, with some young people joining in for a short time and then leaving again, but even in that time they were involved and enjoyed themselves. We were all singing the song long after he left! Honestly, it was better than expected and Seneke is such an amazing guy!

We booked Zest Dance Workshops to launch Culture week in a primary school, with a day of dance workshops for every class, from Nursery age to Year 6. Olivia could not have been more accommodating, suggesting different themes for each class to work on. The day went fantastically well, and all children and staff were hugely appreciative of Olivia’s positivity and the engaging workshops she led. We invited Zest Dance Workshops in to do some dance with our nursery children. We are quite specific in how we would like additional experiences to be at our nursery due to the age of the children and what we want them to get out of it. Our requirements did not deter Olivia, and she was flexible and went with what we asked. The children loved having her in their nursery, and some children danced all day! Olivia arrived on time, was professional, came with her DBS (not always the case!), and provided the children with a great experience.

Zest Dance have provided really engaging and enjoyable dance workshops for our secondary school activities days for 2 years now (Zumba, Street Dance and Bollywood dancing) and we would highly recommend them! Olivia is a real pleasure to work with, not just delivering above and beyond in engaging the students, but her professionalism in being there on time, on message and working with us in every sense.

We received some really glowing feedback this year from all groups that Olivia worked with! They really enjoyed themselves, commenting that the workshops were really enjoyable, hands-on and challenging. They’ve already asked when Olivia can come back again… Zest Dance deliver excellent value for money and are well worth considering for any dance workshops.

Zest Dance came in to our school, The Robert Fitzroy Academy, during Arts Week to do contemporary dance workshops based around the sculptures and themes of artist Barbara Hepworth. They worked with Years 2-5. The kids had a great time and I had a lot of positive comments from teachers across the school about how fantastic the workshops were. We were impressed by how much Olivia was able to teach them in such a short space of time!
