I bought some books online for a Jonathan Stroud signing that I couldn't make in person and the lovely people at Pickled Pepper Books organised for the books to be signed and sent to me. Lovely customer service, so friendly and approachable and I'm so glad to know that kids in the area have this store to visit.

Great books, amazing customer service and in my neighborhood. What's not to love?! When we moved to the UK from California one of the main attractions to Crouch End was this bookstore!! Urmi showed such friendliness and great service, we knew we could make this our future home. They are so much more than just a children's bookstore! I'm always asking for random cook books that they are able to source for me. This is my go to store whenever I need a book and bonus- they gift wrap too!!!!! Great when you need a book to hand out at school pick up!

We held my daughter's fourth birthday party here with 12 friends. The party leader was outstanding! She ran the themed storytime and related craft activity, afternoon tea, traditional party games and disco with such enthusiasm! The kids really enjoyed themselves and she was very attentive ensuing each child was included in the fun.

We had such a great time at Pickled Pepper Enfield's Gruffalo party. The team clearly know their stuff when it comes to entertaining little ones and kept an audience of mixed-ages happy and engaged. Really appreciated the level of personal service too, the booksellers made an effort to engage with every child there and helped them all pick out a book to take home. The space is lovely and laid back, you could happily hang out here with a coffee while your kids browse and read on the beanbags. Do go and check it out!

We just had a great birthday party for our 4 year old here. The staff were very supportive and friendly (especially with us being a bit stressed out), and they went out of their way to help us. Can't recommend them enough either as a birthday venue or a lovely children's bookshop with a great vibe.

An incredible independent children's bookstore. They are knowledgeable about their market, make fantastic recommendations and can get books in very swiftly if not in stock. We've been to a 'meet the author' and booksigning event there and it was fantastic. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great children’s bookstore with a nice vibe. I can’t resist buying something nearly every time I visit - they just stock very good titles in my opinion.

I also threw a children’s birthday party here and it was exceptionally well organised. I highly recommend the venue.

Came here for Santa's grotto. Really rude, moody elf. As a minority parent, if you want to be treated like you just swam across the channel, I'd recommend coming here. Suggest going to the mall in wood green for grotto unless you're white, middle class and so so liberal
