My son was not in school for a year due to the school saying he was a danger, and my wife going to tribunal against school placement we finally got offered SENse Learning. It started off very slow for my son as he had to get used to his tutor. His tutor was brilliant in talking the time with him to were the have a great friendship. He has also gone up in his hours and has a new tutor for his extra hours, who once again is being brilliant with him. We are very happy with all the progress our son is making with SENse Learning.

Wow wow wow. SENse Learning are the only education providers we have met in 10 years, to understand SEND obstacles at UK mainstream schools. After many exhausting years of fighting for our two SEND daughters’ rights to access an education, and having been given false promises and not even basic mainstream core standards support for SEND in lessons, we had little energy or trust left to spare for the next educator claiming to be able to support our daughter who was unable to attend school due to unmet needs and acute anxiety. SENse Learning has restored our faith in humans, in good people, in educating others about SEND and how easy it is to support those who can’t access their education in mainstream school because the schools support only the few who can ‘behave appropriately’ with minimal intervention. SENse Learning team understands our family, our children, what our daughter needs, they work together with us (which is unheard of at mainstream schools) and are helping our daughter to heal from years of school trauma from physical and mental abuse due to her simply having autism and other SEND and the mainstream school staff being ignorant to how to support her. SENse Learning are educated and empathic and work with parents and families. Our family would be flat on the floor without them. We can’t thank them enough.

Applied for a job role with SENse learning today. Sent across my CV as requested and got an email straight away saying I haven't been successful , they've had loads of applicants and therefore, can't provide feedback. Sorry what? Did you even bother reading my CV 'Bob'...? I have lots of qualifications and experience under my belt yet this company I swear hasn't even bothered to even read my CV! And the fact they emailed me pretty much straight away after me sending it seems quick and dodgy! It's shame as they are apparently still looking for staff and the job role is right up my street! But I think I've had a lucky escape with these guys!
After reading other parents reviews they seem very unhappy of their service. Clearly not the right people/company to support those who have SEN.

SENse Learning has been truly life changing for my son. Being able to bridge alternate provision with mainstream school has been exactly what my son needs, this is reflected in his continued growth and progress in all areas.
I wholeheartedly believe that without SENse; my son would not be able to access education as he does now and have the friendships he does now. I can’t thank his mentor enough for her tailored support and guidance. look forward to another successful year ahead.

Alice has been great for our son he is slowly building up courage to get out and explore the outside world.
Engaging in most subjects, and Alice has been able to encourage our son to learn life skills and limit the demand slowly.

Jen has helped my son make a lot if progress both academically and emotionally in a very short space of time. I have an ever increasingly confident child who is finding it easier to engage in short learning activities and workbooks after being outside of the classroom doing no learning for over a year and who was previously point blank refusing to do anything. He has ASC and suspected ADHD and SENse have been brilliant at catering to his needs, the feedback and support for parents has also been amazing

My daughter has been accessing SENse Learning for a few weeks, and already we are seeing some positive changes. She is really enjoying crafting and cooking with her mentor, and it is lovely watching her confidence, perseverance and resilience grow. The support and encouragement she gets from Kate is amazing. All the SENse Learning staff we have met or spoken to are brilliant. Caring, kind, and passionate they really have focused on what my daughter needs, and have also supported us as a family. I cannot rate them high enough.
