A library that is run by the council, as all libraries are. Crowthorne library is in the middle and the ♡ heart ♡ of Crowthorne High Street.
The library stocks various types of books 📚 to read 📖 even reading 📖 books 📚 for the blind and many other more.
There is also public ⛣ computers that the public ⛣ can use, they also hold various activities throughout the week that the public ⛣ can join in.
Plenty of Wheelchair ♿ acsses, no main car 🚙 park 🏞 to park 🏞 in, only the recreation ground, Co-op or beyond Lloyd's Chemist or on the side street
There also is a bus 🚍 & train 🚉 service that runs nearby if you are coming from outside of the area.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they have clearly carefully worked through how to be Covid safe and are doing a great job. Sadly this means only one family allowed in the library at a time ( the children's books are in a fairly small area) so you could have to wait a while to get in and then you don't feel you can browse slowly as you know you are keeping people waiting

Very sad news over Crowthorne library, have heard this on good authority, that the main customer service desk is to be removed and replaced with self service terminals. There will be one full time member of staff and one volunteer manning the library. I hope local people who use the library and the others in Bracknell Forest complain to the council, as I was told the same make over is happening at all other libraries in the area. You will not receive what has been excellent customer service up until now in the future under this new system.

Sign in and out Machines work well but most important haven't replaced all the people who are helpful and friendly. The library is an asset for Crowthorne and hopefully continues to be so for years to come.
