Absolutely love it here! All the horses are lovely with their own personality! Fi and Jen are so welcoming and friendly! They make you feel at ease the minute you step onto the yard. The rides are so fun and I honestly would come everyday if I could! I Would recommend this place a thousand times!! Can’t wait to come back again!

So my partner and I have wanted to go riding for the longest time, and after much searching and a recommendation from a rival stables (Tremains Riding stables) due to circumstances beyond their control, we arrived at East View Farm Riding Centre. So where I am almost a complete novice (having riden only once before today), my partner is a confident and experienced rider. Still, no matter, straight onto a horse,my horse, Katie, was patient and steady, taking me steadily and securely around a varied and interesting course, some of which is woodland and some of which is in the lovely lush greenery, so uphill down hill we went, even a couple of short trots during the course of our hour or so ride! What more can I say, a lovely setting, beautiful and patient horses, and very reasonable prices to boot if you're in the area and want to ride, I heartily recommend this place!

Had a lovely day out hacking in Ashdown forest, what a beautiful place to ride! I am a relatively big guy (6’3 & 100kgs) and there aren’t many places that can accommodate me, but East View has a few big horses for someone like me to ride. The ride was fun with plenty of opportunities for trotting and cantering. Our horses were fantastic and our guide Jen was great and gave us helpful tips on our technique. We’ll definitely be back soon for another ride!

Third time I've ridden at East View, friendy and professional, fantastic horses, forward going but well mannered. It was a fabulous 3 hour ride, helped by good sunny weather and ground a bit drier than the last time we were here. Brilliant views too. As we're now pretty much in lock down and I can't go much further than walking or cycling in the local park I'll remember this great afternoon for a while. Thank you Fi!

What a fantastic experience!!! yes that is my opening line 🙂 My wife and 11 year old daughter and I are not local and I was looking for something special to do for my wifes Birthday which is slightly difficult during lockdown. We planned are trip to the forest and came across EVRC while looking at possible things to do. My wife and daughter love horse riding but very rarely do it so thought was a great surprise. I got in touch with Fionn who was great from the very start, friendly and welcoming we were all booked in. On arrival the horses looked so well looked after and beautiful. We met Fionn who instantly was a bubbly, funny and putting our nerves at ease. Truly superb with my daughter. Throughout the whole ride the fun and laughter Fionn was giving was infectious and really put my daughter and us at ease which gave us confidence and great experience. The ride its self was beautiful through fields and forest was great experience and one would recommend to anyone. During lockdown must be extremely tough for places like this and would encourage all to take time a visit and book up. Fionn and her team taking all precautions they can and I know you will enjoy. Thank you Fionn and all at EVRC 🙂 Made the day special

Had a great time on Saturday at East View Riding Centre. We bought vouchers for our friends for Christmas and joined them on the hack through the beautiful Ashdown forest. I arranged everything with Fionn remotely and she couldn't have been more helpful. The girls that took us on the hack were a delight. Friendly, chatty and helpful, as we hadn't ridden for a couple of years and our skills were limited. I would definitely recommend them if you want to go to a well run stable with well kept and good mannered horses. We'll definitely be going back there to ride again.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time on the farm hack at east view - it was the first time my boyfriend had been on a horse and he was able to trot solo in his first hour! Thank you Jen for being such a great instructor, we will definitely be back again soon!
