Study Buddy has given Will and excellent head start to year 11. The system has supported him to plan his revision ahead of time. He saves a considerable amount of time each day / block by deciding what he is going to revise in one time block. When he is ready to revise he simply grabs the right revision guide / resource and cracks on.

At the end of the week he has a complete picture of all he has accomplished. 5)&/ allows us to have a super productive conversation around what went well / even better if and plan the next together.

We have paired the system with a dated wall planner so that we can prioritise the subject areas based on mocks / courses work / exams that are upcoming.

As a parent I was very concerned that Will would adopt the same path as myself and panic / cram at the end. He has not. He has consistently maintained, from the first week in September, regular daily revision sessions.

A recent parents evening across all subjects demonstrated that his subject knowledge is strong and he areas for improvement sit around answering the question asked.

Our oldest child is in Year 10, and is about to undertake her “mock mocks”. Since the Covid years, when “mock mock” grades ended up being the determiner for final grades, her school has taken these Year 10 exams very seriously - with predicted grades, study leave, exam timetables, etc. Despite being a hard worker, and keen to do well, she was feeling a little confused about where to start and how to manage her time. The Study Buddy has come to our rescue!

The system Nathan has designed is straightforward to understand and put into action, but it is oh so effective! Our daughter has gone from feeling a little lost to feeling empowered and positive about the revision period. She knows where she’s been, where she’s going and has a road map for how to get there!

We love the whiteboard, and the fact that there are pre-printed magnetic labels to slot into each week, ensuring complete course coverage. She’s even annotated some of the magnets in pencil, linking the topic to the relevant pages of her revision guides. As Nathan suggested, she keeps the “still to do” magnets in the top left corner and the “completed” ones in the bottom left corner, which is a visual representation of how far she’s come, and the ever-decreasing work still to do. The whiteboard has enabled us to check in on her progress much more easily, which has taken away any tensions.

As parents, we’re so relieved to have found The Study Buddy - especially as we have four children in total so many (many!) years of revision and exams in our future. We wanted to get this right from the off, and set a sort of family precedent for how to tackle revision periods, and The Study Buddy has enabled us to do just this. We also love the fact that you can build in fixed periods for meals, relaxation and exercise so that these essential “time outs” for health and wellbeing are not overlooked if/when anxiety sets in.

Thank you Nathan and team, for making our busy lives that little bit easier and happier during what could otherwise be a stressful time. Your customer service is second to none - Nathan could not have been more proactive or responsive!

Study buddy promates a structured approached to exam revision. We have found this an excellent approach to support our son and get closer to where he need extra support. Really takes the mystery out of how will he is revising. Visualising a plan on a white board is great, seeing progress motivates and gives a sense of achievement. Also a great way to form new habits that will no doubt help my son later in life and his career! A great concept!

Where do I start? And are there more than 5 Stars that I can give - how about 10 stars to The Study Buddy!

I have a 16 year old who lives and breathes procrastination.
To be honest I knew we needed a plan but I just didn't know what we needed or how to go about finding the best solution.
We had tried the books, online revision and YouTube but without a plan none of this was going to blossom.

Google brought me to The Study Buddy but I still didn't know what we wanted or what was going to work. So, I sent an email to Nathan, who is a legend, a genuine person that cares, and is dedicated to help you find a solution with a plan of action.

Nathan explained how the White Board Study Planner works and how he would do all the hard work for me and create all the revision content on magnetic cards which we then transfer onto the weekly board.

Nathan didn't stop there! Oh no he went above and beyond and arranged a zoom call explaining how he suggests we use the board effectively.

I can not thank him enough!

Nathan thank you so so much! You have made mine and my 16 year olds life easier.
