I cannot fault the live-in carers provided by County Carers to my elderly parents over the last two years. They all come with good references and experience and the family are provided with the carers' CV and able to contact them before they are placed.
My parents both have mild dementia and have been well looked after in this regard. County Carers do their best to try and keep two longer term carers with my parents and then only when the carer is on leave do they have a short term carer. Considering the difficulties across the country for hiring carers County Carers are doing a wonderful job. Thank you County Carers!

County Carers Domiciliary and Live-in Care have been providing personal care twice a day at home for my wife since July 2022. They recruit only the best people and maintain high standards through on-going training and spot checks. We have a regular carer in the morning and two different regular carers who cover the evening call. They are all lovely, professional and very kind to my wife (who has a muscle wasting disease). During February I ended up in hospital for two days and they were able to arrange extra cover in my absence to ensure my wife got something to eat and drink during the day. On the rare occasions that a regular carer has been unable to attend, they will arrange a stand-in - often one of the managers. We are so glad we use this company and would recommend them highly.

We use them for live in care for Mum. The carers we have are brilliant, kind, and trustworthy. They care about Mum and have helped with her dementia and greatly reduced her anxiety. They really are worth the money. The support team are great to regularly keeping in touch with both the carers and us to make sure there are no issues. Thanks very much.

Muriel, my stepmother, is now 99 and hopefully will reach 100 next May.
She has been cared for by county carers since May 2017. My relationship with County Carers has been one of total trust and indeed friendship.
I cannot say enough in praise of the carers themselves. Caring, efficient, honest and reliable, totally capable in emergency situations. Three of the longer term carers have been absolute stars, providing a standard of care which has improved Muriel's health and well being. I could not ask for more. Mike Carter

The care provided by County is completely dependant on the carer that is sent. They are all self employed so a large amount of of the fees you pay goes to the management.
The management don't seem to care very much at all about anyone but themselves. They will send a carer to wake an elderly person in the morning at 10.45am and then visit to put the elderly person to bed they will call at 9pm. This is obviously not for the person being cared for convenience.
I have arrived after the carers have visited in the morning to find my mother in bed in soaked sheets with her breakfast stuck to her face. The carer was paid to get my mother up and fed and have her medication. After hospitalization due to a UTI, it was imperative that my mother was not left to lie in bed. When I pointed this out to the carer it became clear that they didn't even know what a UTI was.
Find a care company that actually care more about the people they care for rather than their bank account. Avoid.

My mother has been extremely well looked after by County Carers. They have an efficient software system they use so every carer understands what needs to be done, without any explanation from myself. All of them have been polite and respectful.

County Carers have been a lifeline to me over the last 18 months as I have the peace of mind knowing that my Mum is being looked after by lovely ladies who genuinely care. And the management team have also been very accommodating and helpful every step along the way. Highly recommend.

Beware and watch the small print!
We ended up paying £4200 for 4 days care as my mother died at 4 days
We also received an invoice for £3400 saying "payment at your earliest opportunity" written in red, within 12 hours of my mothers death
The carer and "fronting" person seemed great, the package and management insensitive and punitive
