Lovely campsite,
Recently been with our scouting group.
However wouldn’t recommend if you have a larger group going as sleeping facilities are lacking if you have a group bigger than 25.

Parking isn’t ideal as it’s a walk down hill from the car park to the cabin and if you have brought all the equipment for your camp it isn’t ideal for unpacking.

The camp fire area was brilliant apart from the cover as its was damaged prior to our arrival.

Plenty of outdoor space for hammocks, tents and activities.

Phone signal in the area is lacking and WiFi isn’t the strongest.

Overall we had a brilliant camp with limited numbers due to space.

Fantastic, well managed Scout camp site. The Hideaway was well equipped and sleeps a lot of people. We will certainly take our Cubs there again.

Fond memories of this campsite when I was a cub scout, and now I am a leader I take my cub pack there. It is still a great place to camp close to the sandstone trail and Frodsham, Helsby and Delamere Forest

Beautiful camp, quiet & spacious. All sections enjoyed our camp & the bunks for the beavers were immaculate.
