This cafe is a hidden gem! People are often not aware that the Lawton Community Hub has a cafe and if they do they imagine horrible coffee in a polystyrene cup as an after thought. Well they could not be more wrong. This cafe is outstanding and it’s worth going there just for the cafe! The food is excellent, the portions are great and the prices are better. The staff look after you and accommodate your needs perfectly.

If you haven’t tried the cafe yet, do yourself a favour and get down there and have a brekky or some lunch! You won’t be sorry!

My dad has been going here regularly, it is a lovely cafe. The food is excellent, with a good choice (his favourite is the custard tart) and reasonably priced. Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

After the stress of getting my children into school, I look forward to my daily latte. The coffee here is quite simply delicious with the perfect amount of froth! The tea is also good as I like a proper builder's brew! The food is lovely, the pricing is extremely reasonable and the place is spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff here make you feel at ease and welcome, there's never the feeling of needing to leave as soon as you finish eating or drinking and it's just a lovely place to come to and chill out or chat.

Came here recently two adults and one child. Ordered two burgers with chips and a tuna sandwich with chips. We ordered our food at 11:40am and we received the meal at 1:15pm I’m sorry but a 1 hour 35 minute wait is ridiculous. No apology when food eventually came, and to be honest food was below average. Chips were not even cooked and we couldn’t eat them. Left hungry and went somewhere else- won’t return and don’t recommend.

My colleague and I visited the café on Monday and had a lovely cup of coffee. The place was spotless and we was greeted with a very warm welcome. The cakes looked delicious, though we resisted as we were trying to be good! The food smelled fantastic too.

A brilliant spot for anyone wanting a cuppa and a bite to eat! 🙂

Called into the Cafe Thursday morning and have to say it is amazing. I am not one to post reviews or such but could not pass the opportunity to say how good this cafe is. The prices are very good and the place was immaculately spotless. I have never been so impressed with a cafe.
Staff and service excellent also. Do not pass without dropping in.
If the awarded Michalin stars for Cafes this would have 5*

Amazing tasty food/drinks and great value for money.
Beautifully furnished and lovely decorated, plus a great atmosphere.
The staff are very polite and efficient. We're already looking forward to our next visit 😊
