Not your run of the mill gym. Small classes including outdoor boot camp in the summer.
It could be an intense spin session, a bag workout in combat or high intensity treadmill, weights and boxing session in the assault class.
All led by brilliant instructors who motivate you every step of the way, throw in some high energy music, dim the lights and it all adds up to a great exercise environment.
The place has a real community feel about it, everyone is made to feel welcome. They are also starting to build a bit of a social scene.
When joining 7 months ago, I was convinced that a couple of classes a week would be enough for me, but as my fitness increased, so did my appetite for more, everything from boot camps, weight based strong classes, to a great spin and stretch class on a Saturday morning, setting you up nicely for the weekend.
All classes are linked to a heart rate monitor, which records performance and gives you extra motivation. So even if you haven’t exercised for years, you can still exercise at a high level of intensity based on your personal fitness, age, weight etc, and you do not feel left out.
I have tried several of the big gyms quite a few years ago and they never really did it for me, but Gary and his team seem to offer something which makes me WANT to go to the gym.
You can also have a 3D body scan and PT based classes.
This is a very friendly place, they have your well being at heart.
They normally let you have a free trial lesson, so give it a go, I did 7 months ago and haven’t looked back.
