Miss Dannii goes above and beyond to get her Ockerby family access to the best experiences she can. She works tirelessly with the students and they all love being part of the academy. From Paris to London to Elf the musical, the students work hard and do their best to shine under her guidance. Dexter has been dancing there for over two years and he loves it! Isabelle loves musical theatre and they both look forward to their weekly classes! Isabelle is already excited for next year’s show and Dexter and I cannot wait for Birmingham Symphony Hall in May!! I would recommend Ockerby Academy to any child, as it’s more than just about performing, it’s about being part of something bigger. Good luck today OA with Elf - I’m sure you’ll all smash it!! 💝

OA is an amazing dance school. Dannii and all the teachers go over and beyond. They genuinely care about every single child. They make dance enjoyable and are so supportive, which enables the children to grow in confidence. Dannii never stops smiling. She truly loves what she does, and the children adore her.

My daughter joined Ockerby Academy when she was 18 months old starting with Baby Ballet and moving on to enjoy Musical Theatre, Jazz and recently starting Acro. She has grown in confidence and has found a real love for performing arts all encouraged and taught with such love by all of the teachers at OA! She loves attending classes, performing in the annual shows, taking part in local events and the summer school which is a fantastic opportunity for young ones to meet some talented industry professionals. As a parent its also been great to meet the children's families and make some life long friends. It's a wonderful community to be part of and Miss Dannii is so passionate about each individual child! We can't wait to see what the future holds...starting all over again with our 2 year old who has started Baby Ballet. OA SUPERSTARS <3 x

Both my daughters have attended Ockerby academy for a while. I cannot express what a wonderful dance school this is. Dannii and her team are simply outstanding. Both my girls can’t wait to go each week. Attending Ockerby has both boosted their confidence and encouraged them to follow their dreams. They have had many opportunities to take part in a variety of shows and performance’s that we have all loved. Thank you Dannii for all you do! Xx

Ockerby Academy is a friendly, fun and inclusive place which my two girls thoroughly enjoy learning to act , dance and sing. Run by the delightful Miss Dannii and with the nicest teachers it’s been so amazing for them both for the last few years and they’ve both grown in so much confidence since joining.

Dannii is an absolutely fantastic teacher. Not only is her teaching wonderfully creative and fun for students, but she is creating a community of lovely friendships also. Dannii provides fantastic opportunities for the students to develop and showcase their talents through shows and continuous events she participates in. She brings out the best in all her students and sees them all as individuals. She is incredibly passionate and optimistic which just rubs off on everyone. Can’t recommend her more! I have two daughters attending OA and they both absolutely love it. It is way more than a dance school, it really is a dance family. Dannii is amazing not just at teaching the actual dancing but also at building confidence and making sure all of her students feel special and get to show what they can do. My girls really have benefitted so much from being part of Ockerby and whilst one of them will be leaving this year for uni she will definitely stay part of the family!
