Nice facility. Majority of staff are professional, kind, and dedicated. Unfortunately, they call parents often for minor issues (“diaper blow out”, “toddler child isn’t participating in activities”, fever/temperature below their stated protocol) and then request the parent to pick up the child. This occurred, no exaggeration, almost weekly.

Worse yet, they do not make written reports of incidents (such as a child being injured) and then have the parents sign off on them. We don’t understand how they could be nationally accredited when they don’t require written reports.

Some teachers do not support taking toddler to bathroom on a prescribed schedule when potty training. It’s difficult to potty train when there’s no support from caregivers.

Communication is terrible regarding weekly activities, upcoming events. Other daycares provide daily email reports, which can lead to learning opportunities to be carried over to home and conversation with the child about his/her day.

Compassionate staff, focused on child development and consistent routine building. The teachers balance love and discipline to provide a valuable experience for the kids. Fun parent events and accessible feedback are added plusses.

I've had a great experience with CDC 1. My son started in Room 0/1 as an infant and now is in Room 2. The caregivers treat your kids like their own. Front desk staff and leadership are super nice, as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
