Very friendly staff and are now open throughout the week, so a lot more user friendly. With all the cuts these days it's great to see one public service still being invested in. The Summer Challenge to encourage children to keep reading over the school holidays was great, and the staff really spent time encouraging and praising my two girls whenever we went in. Use it or lose it people!

Lovely free crèche, perfect for letting your little darlings run riot! Your kids are aloud to run around wherever they like and make as much noise as they like. You don’t even need to respect people who are trying to concentrate for work or study (I mean what do those people think it is? A library?!) just let your kids shake their rattles really loudly right in the ear of someone trying to work and pull in the leg of their chair and then just laugh at them. Oh and you are even aloud to leave your tiny babies in the automatic front doors! 😂

I mainly go there to use the cafe where they have a excellent range of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes, they also do reasonably priced lunches. The library itself is a friendly welcoming place with all the normal library facilities.

BANK HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS .... I am not a frequent Library visitor so i am unsure of the usual opening hours. Given that Libraries are heavily into I.T. and men allegedly walked on the Moon 50 years ago .... i would have thought it possible for the Website to take Bank Holidays into account. It`s not a problem that you are not open, but is unhelpful if the Website says otherwise

Great to have such a good library close to home. The staff are great and there is a reasonable selection of books. Nice modern building that is inviting and welcoming.
