Was here for a four day C & G 18th edition course. Stall were all friendly, helpful and well informed. The course was well presented.... must have done alright to teach me, I passed 🙂
There is a cafe/restaurant on site as well providing a range of drinks, snacks and hot food.

The most racist company I've ever had to deal with. I wouldn't even give it one star, just had to.
I applied for several roles at this place quite a few times directly and indirectly, but each time they just completely dismissed my applications as soon as they found out it was me. They don't know me, but they say to the agencies they know me and have interviewed me, which is a big lie. I've never seen any of them and none of them knows me, but they do this, because a bigot from Lakes College has poisoned their minds, and I know who that is. This is illegal, but they are doing it. I have tried to get a feedback as to why they dismiss my applications directly and indirectly and have never got any response whatsoever. The best feedback I got was some mambo jumbo from the HR manager and telling me that I had to talk to this never reachable person to get a feedback, I'm still to hear back after 4 years of chasing after them.
Their salaries & holidays are also pathetic compared to others.

Terrible training provider. Not capable of providing HNCs or HNDs to any standard. Seriously question how they are getting away with such poor teaching or how they can say they are awarding degree-level qualifications. Do your employees a favour and send them to a proper university!

Great training provider with excellent facilities for apprentice training and not just in engineering. They also do higher level education and training with HNC and HND courses as stand alone qualifications or as part of higher apprenticeship. Degree courses and apprenticeships are also available

The WORST college ever. If I owned an engineering company I would NOT even consider this college for my apprentices. Absolutely hopeless, useless tutors, organisation skills zero, and generally a waste of money. Anybody who thinks better of the college must be blind in my opinion.

I completed my Apprenticeship with Gen2 and it was a good experience. Craig Mercer; my assessor gave me a lot of help a long the way and I learned a lot from him at the same time. I would reccomend to anyone.
