I loved the trip with school. We went for pur S3 residential in May, and it was an incredible experience where I got to try a bunch of new activities. Dylan, the person who worked there and helped us with our activities needs a pay rise cuz he was awesome

Cannot fault any part of the lakes!
Great for all age groups, dog walkers, families and couples. Stayed here over night and loved it! With great scenic views, various activities to do here. Surrounded by the wildlife and nature. Love the outdoors 🥰

We camped here for one night as part of a group/club summer camping trip with Woodland Experiences…..and after just a few hours everyone wanted to stay longer, which in itself says a lot about this experience. The site was perfect, part of the YMCA campsite at Newby Bridge, so the location was ideal - right next to Windermere with access to the shower and toilet facilities. The staff at Woodland Experiences couldn't do enough for us, instructing us how on how to set up our hammocks and tarps as well as other bushcraft techniques and even cooked breakfast for us! Both adults and children were kept entertained throughout the afternoon into the evening with various games and like I said, I only wish we had time for other on/off site activities. This was a perfect introduction to 'wild' camping, in a safe environment with expert help that suits all ages. Highly recommend!

I attended a canoeing event at the YMCA Lakeside. It’s a beautiful spot on the shores of a beautiful lake. The facilities are excellent and well kept and the packed lunch and hot dinner supplied were excellent.

I give it a 2 star but when I went there with school I got stuck in a room at night and pressed a disabled button and no one answered it and he to go outside in the dark and find a way back in but other than that it was amazing

Pretty quiet at the moment due to Covid, but rang up and got permission to walk around North and South camps. Many happy memories from 40+ years ago when I stayed as a teenager. Thank you so much 🙂
