Our instructor, Quill, was amazing. As absolute beginners we were worried about how we’d take to skiing but after a session with Quill we are now super excited to go skiing next year. It’s an amazing venue with super helpful and friendly staff. Although I think my wife was more enamoured with the venue’s four legged mascot than she has ever been with me ☹️

Cannot recommend more highly. Our family of 4 went in preparation for our first skiing holiday and total beginners. The teaching was pitched perfectly and the dry ski treadmill environment ideal. Thank you Quill, spot on!!!

Moving Mountains is well worthy of its 5 stars. I have never done skiing or snowboarding before so I was brand new to the experience. I have done 4 snowboard lessons with (I terribly can't remember his name) a lad who is fantastic at teaching and very patient. My performance from the first to the 4th lesson has improved 10 fold and this is due to the instructor. You're a legend. 5 stars to him.

Furthermore, the environment as a whole is amazing. Very kind staff and always have a smile. 5 stars to them.

Coffee and food are available on-site which is amazing. There is a lovely young lady who bakes the food and always has a nice smile. 5 stars to her.

To anyone contemplating ski/snowboard lessons at Hemel instead of here, I would say spend a few extra quid and visit here instead. After my 3rd lesson at Moving Mountains I went to Hemel with my mate who can already snowboard on the slope (no lessons at Hemel). He was extremely impressed with my performance and I have MM to thank for it.

7 days from now I'll in the Alps putting this to good use and I will be back for a refresher next season.

What a joy. Almost as good as the real thing! Myself, my partner, brother and father all took multiple lessons here in readiness for a ski holiday and everyone was always friendly, helpful and most importantly great at getting you ready for the mountains.

Amazing ski lessons with reasonable prices. Perfect for learning to ski - better than SnowZone in MK as you can focus more on technique. Really cool set up and food and coffee was so good! Lovely family run company, staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t not mention Juno the dog! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!

Just returned from my first ever ski trip and am so grateful to Quill at Moving Mountains for the lessons I had in advance. I was a very nervous learner and Quill was such a patient instructor, giving clear and helpful advice. It made a huge difference to my experience on actual snow having done a Moving Mountains package of lessons in advance. My boys also had lessons and loved it! It’s a lovely set-up with very friendly staff and a great cafe serving drinks and snacks. Highly recommended! 😊

First visit to Moving Mountains today: very impressed. My fourteen-year-old and his friend went for a duo lesson, ahead of a ski trip next month.

The staff were helpful and friendly from first contact/booking and throughout the experience. The technical setup is excellent and provides a brilliant environment for learning - being able to see what you're doing in the mirror, without having to look down, makes a massive difference. The instructor was patient and clear and both of them made really good progress; couldn't ask for more.

Oh and the flapjacks were delicious...

amazing place, the instructors are friendly, i had never been snowboarding before and they took there time to teach me and didn't feel rushed.
