Fantastic service. Needed two tyres fitted quickly which i already had and they did just that. Couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly unlike some of the other local tyre dealers I went to first. Strongly recommended. I myself will be using them again in the future. Avoid!! We came on holiday to dawlish and noticed that my tyre had worn down a lot. So we booked in with this garage and the receptionist was lovely. We took the car down there the next day and left them too it. Then the issues began…we had a call that the mechanics couldn’t get the locking wheel nut off the car? Suspicious? I told them that we had the tyres off with no issues a few days prior to fit new brake pads, so I suggested I come down there and show them. The receptionist was happy for me to do so and I traveled to the garage only to find that they had already smashed the wheel nuts off and ordered new ones that are going to cost £70!!
I showed my frustration about this and the receptionist said she would discount the price for me. When I went to pick the car back up they had put regular wheel nuts on the car so now I’m left with no locking nuts!! They agreed for me to only pay for the nuts themselves and not for the labour which was the least they could do. Once I had the car back I noticed that they had deeply scratched the rim of my car where they took off the locking nut. My hubcap had turned brown from some sort of oil or residue and this is nothing I can prove but I believe they sabotaged my brake disc’s as I noticed lots of spotting on them which wasn’t there when I had changed the pads a few days prior. Really unhappy with this garage and the massively unprofessional mechanic. In fairness the receptionist was lovely but this garage is definetly an avoid. Will never be coming back here again…

Noticed this morning that my nearside rear brake and reversing light had failed and when I was driving into Dawlish later I drove into the Shutterton Estate and went looking for a garage. Luckily I found Dawlish Tyre and Auto Centre. Brett, the owner stop what he was doing without a quibble, found a bulb and replaced it within 10 minutes and in the raging heat of this July day (19th). And at a reasonable price. I am local and WILL use their services again. Thanks Brett. Andy Walker
