I’ve been attending TCS School of Improv off and on since 2017, and it’s been amazing! Chris, the workshop coach, is fantastic. He makes everyone feel welcome and teaches valuable improv skills like thinking on our feet, collaboration, and spontaneity. These workshops are fun, engaging, and have greatly improved my improv technique.

The supportive and positive community at TCS School of Improv is another highlight. The facilities are clean and well-organized, adding to the great experience. If you’re interested in improv, I highly recommend TCS School of Improv. Chris’s coaching is invaluable!

I really love improv and I feel so lucky to have found the Wednesday TCS workshops. I really like exploring one topic in a bit of depth each month. The workshops cater to improvisers at various levels, so every week there is a mix of exercises and scenes so that there is a little something for everyone. I’ve found that everyone in the workshops are really enthusiastic to play and that the teachers are really experienced and really love spreading the art of improv. It’s really great way to meet many international friends in Tokyo!

I had a wonderful at the workshop.
It was fun to improvise with people from all over the world. Suddenly, there were no frontiers and we were all playing the same game!
The teacher talks with knowledge and passion and he is very open on sharing his experience.
Great time, it’s definitely something to do again.

There’s no announcement on who will be the improv host every week. Tonight, the improv host was rude. When one participant asked, “What is edit?” The host replied, “What language do you speak?” Before going there, make sure who the host is. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of time and money with an unorganized and impolite improv host.
