A wonderful small garden run by lovely volunteers. We enjoyed watching the bird feeders and bought some very reasonably priced plants for the garden. Lots for children to do and plenty of benches to sit on and admire the surroundings.

Flatford Wildlife Garden is located along the main tourist trail leading away from Flatford Mill, Field Studies Council, etc. The contained conservation area is intended to inform & inspire those keen to plant their own gardens with bird friendly trees & shrubs. A beautiful restful spot in the middle of a very busy place in school holidays & Summertime. It's closed throughout the winter months. Probably best time to visit to avoid the tourist crowds is just after it opens @ 10:30 (BST)

Very calm, peaceful & beautiful. Informative staff & volunteers. Blue tips had just hatched, and we had a fascinating 'birds eye' view into the nest via the hidden camera. Beautiful plants for sale at generous prices.

Unfortunately the weather was not too good when I visited, but it is a lovely garden with many different wildlife habitats. The bees were busy by the pond in the clay bee property, and there was a lot of movement in the pond.
In the information building you can see live nest cams, and there's a wealth of information on all the wildlife with RSPB volunteers on hand to answer any questions.

The garden itself is quite small but the walks and the views of the countryside are stunning. A few exhibitions and of course there is a river where you can hire a boat. Was lovely when I got here with a gentle breeze blowing. Dedham and Manningtree are not far away and possible to do a round trip while admiring the beauty of nature. The £5 charge for the car park is unjustified though as the garden is the only visitor attraction. Would go back definitely !!

Another rare 5/5 for me for accessibility. All the staff are lovely, quite a few wheelchair accessibilities. The tea room staff work their butts off, they need a tip jar. Lovely place.

This is great place to walk and learn about nature and this is even more so for the children who loved the nature trail here. This is the second time that we have been here.
