I found Get Licensed to be amazing, Instructor Steve Masterman did my top up and he was very Knowledgeable and extremely patient especially with the two guys struggling with the Physical Intervention and Radio use and Phonetic Alphabet despite these two lads having DS badges,(shortened lunch breaks as a result but no issue) the experience was hugely beneficial and the location of the Royal Station Hotel was excellent who treated us amazing. Many thanks to the member of staff who made me a coffee as I arrived early my last day just before 7am. I'd recommend Get Licensed to anyone seeking to top up or do a full course, the replies from Get Licensed when asked were prompt, explained and when I couldn't find one of the ACT tests ,it was explained how to find it and immediately I found it, I paid for the Gold package and though I've passed first time I'd recommend this package to anyone it's such a peace of mind knowing you can relax even if you may fail and have no other costs unlike the Bronze package. For those reading negative reviews I'd say this, you get out of the courses what you put in so make an effort, and do all the mock tests even if your only doing a top up or just a security officer badge, do them all the are a great resource and get you ready for the tests.

I can't recommend Get Licensed Royal Station Hotel Centre Newcastle to anyone for SIA training especially this centre in Newcastle, their trainers especially (Julian Ashurst ) level of professionalism is zero, the rate and level of discrimination as been from a black race is terrible as the trainers can't hide their feeling of hating you. my brother was sent out of the class yesterday for the same reason he allows the white students to stay. about 3 black students were sent out of the class and was ask to pay a £170 for reschedule, and he lied, how can a trainer lie so much on a student you will just have contact with for just one week. So so Bad!!!!!
note that the he has done the training for third day, Wickedness!!!!
If you are an immigrant do not consider training with them, go elsewhere in Newcastle, because they are out to rob you off your money.

Their trainers are RACIST , they discriminate and segregate the blacks. My brother had the worst experience with them in the Newcastle central royal station hotel branch ,the trainers will let the whites in when they’re late but won’t do that for the blacks , the trainer made sure he didn’t allow him in for the class, HE WAS JUST ONE MINUTE LATE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, and now he is asked to pay £170 to reschedule , RIDICULOUS!!!!! . Just looking for every means to EXTORT people. IF YOU’RE BLACK RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE , I’ll advise you go to other SIA Training center in Newcastle.

I'd make sure your earlier than start time stated as I was on time but had to wait at hotel reception to be seen to ask where course is situated (no signs anywhere)to be told by a man he not letting anybody in he had sent 3 before me away so I was 5min late if 1 or 2 min they refuse you entry as if your being refused entry into a club ! Great impression not
