Really happy with my pies and I have definitely learnt a new skill.
The lunch provided was gorgeous and the location is fantastic.

Jacqui was a great instructor and excellent pie and pasty maker. Set in a lovely barn conversion with great views I had a great day. The ploughmans lunch provided was excellent. I would thoroughly reccomend this course. It has given me the confidence to have a go on my own having previously failed. Attached are photos of my pork pie and vegan samosa pasty's made at home after the course.

We attended the Flavours of Italy cooking workshop and we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Jacqui and Lorraine.

We really enjoyed today and we're were given the opportunity to make tiramisu, focaccia bread and pasta as well as tasting the food at lunch.

Overall me and my husband had a great time, lovely group of people who made the cooking lots of fun and Jacqui and Lorraine were very helpful with the recipes and made this a very enjoyable experience.

I would definitely recommend this workshop.

Thank you for a great experience and we got to take away the food we made too.

We got a gift voucher as a wedding gift and attended the Pork pie & Christmas chutney master class. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and so are the views. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed our time with Jacqui and other participants. Needless to say, the pork pies we made were absolutely delicious. I can totally recommend x

Had a brilliant day at Penistone Pies today, we made pork pies and pasties and then treated to a delicious ploughman’s lunch. Jacqui is a super host and great cookery teacher, I highly recommend her workshops they are very enjoyable with delicious products at the end. If you fancy a different but great day out this is for you, also would make a great group activity or birthdays/ Christmas present for a loved one.

Planned a team building event with Jacqui for the access delivery transmission team. Great communication in planning everything and what was required taking into account 2 people who couldn't make pork pies. A workaround was found easily enough. Duly arrived and parking was fine as was the location just watch out for the cheeky speed camera van coming into the Millhouse Green village as it sits on the bottom of the hill. We had refreshments and homemade biscuits to kick off whilst we had the introduction. Then straight into the elements of making a pork pie. We had two pies to make each and one was hand raised the other using a press that was a working museum piece. within this we had time for lunch as the pies baked. A bake off challenge for the teams with just ingredients and making scones. pies out of the oven were judged and star bakers awarded. finishing on time for the team to disperse with their goodies. Al thoroughly enjoyed the team work and products. Thanks Jacqui

I did the Bread Making & Sourdough course on Thursday 1 June and thoroughly enjoyed the half day. Jacqui was a lovely host letting us into her home kitchen and sharing all sorts of tips and how to get more confident with bread making without a machine. My hubby loved the soda bread and focaccia bread I came home with!

In lovely surroundings we were greeted with a warm welcome from Jacqui and Lorraine.
We really enjoyed making pork pies and a pasty, having plenty to take home and share with our family.
Jacqui had lots of information to share, guiding us through every step, making it relaxing, fun and interesting all the way.
Lunch was so fresh and delicious, with lots of homemade goodies.
It was also lovely to share our day's experiences with a friendly group of people.
