The people are nice and the CV rewrite service was good. However, they've debited my business account several times in error, due to a system migration they undertook - which in itself is excusable - but the complete failure to refund the monies as promised by them, despite conversations and chaser emails, is not. They've been reported to Action Fraud accordingly, as it would seem my experience is not unique. Will not be working them again.

Update as at 9th March 2025 : Excellent result!

I can now confirm that I have had a call from the Finance Director who has explained the situation, apologised and organised a refund of the total amount of £2856 (which has now been received). He was extremely apologetic and I do believe this was a genuine mix up with their banking partner. I understand that they have a new banking partner and so no further problems should occur.

I previously thought that this was a good organisation, as I paid for coaching that was excellent, but they have recently taken £714 out of my business account twice in the past two months (my subscription is not due til next April) and although I have emailed twice, no one is coming back to me. This is an extremely shoddy practice and now that I have read other recent reviews, it would appear that this may be normal practice.

I've now had four lots of £714 taken out of my account and the only thing that they are worried about is that their consultants who did the coaching should not be contacted. I've had a meeting with them, they apologised and said it would be resolved, but then the last payment was taken out at the beginning of February 2025. This is really not right.

I am experiencing the same issue with this company, they have charged me twice in the past couple of months for the yearly membership without my consent (I received confirmation from Manda Bright from Actuate that I would be removed from auto-renewal back in May 2024) I've been trying to contact them for a month with no success. I have started a dispute with my bank for both charges and will report them to the authorities too.

They stole £240 from my account after I cancelled my membership. I have been going back & forth with them since November trying to get a refund. They said they would give a refund. But never actually refunded me. I'm sick of waiting for them to do the right thing. Don't trust them with your card details.

These people are fraudsters and scammers. After attempting to scam money out of me, and a back and forth where I've asked to be removed from all their communications as I did not sign up (which is a breach of GDPR), they have more than a year later, contacted me again. They should be investigated and de-registered, and any business associated with them should think twice about their association with them. I have reported them to the authorities as it looks like hundreds of people have experienced the same issue and encourage others to do the same.

I have been receiving threatening emails and just received one from an alleged collection agency. No invoice, no statement, no agreement sent or referenced in any..Initially, I thought these ominous emails were phishing or spam so I deleted and trashed each message. I’ve searched my email and cannot find anything for this company prior to them sending me threatening collection notices. My concern is when a company or group is this unethical in its practices, writing to them or contacting them can make things worse. Are they real? And the picture of their building?
