Bought these shoes for£18.99p and started falling apart after less than 6 weeks I took them back but was told he has sold hundreds/thousands of them and said it’s the first time he has had a problem with them and said it’s probably the way my daughter is wearing/using them! Never offered a swap or a refund was not interested. Will not return ever again buy local yes but not here anymore

Owner is rude, obnoxious and condescending.
I went in to get a school jumper and they didn't have the right size. Owner told me I shouldn't have left it so late. I get paid at the end of the month so I went into the shop at the end of the month. He was completely unsympathetic and downright rude. I told him there was no need to be so condescending and he ignored me.
He spouted some spiel about him working with the headteacher, making all their own products and contacting his "guy" and maybe they'll have the size in stock by weekend. I won't be going back.
In future I'll just make the trip to Blackburn and go to Wtittakers, much more friendly and approachable there.

Owner is rude and obnoxious. Which is a shame because its more local than Grays and the option too pay in installments is a good idea. What isn't a good idea is telling your customer "there must be something wrong with them if thay can't afford uniform" whilst we are in the worst rate of inflation for 30 years and people are struggling to pay bills.

Also sort your window out, its dangerous and there must be something wrong with you if you can't afford to maintain a decent store front.
