Lots of friendly and well kept horses, however, I attended the own a pony day for £40 and got told we were doing a lesson and hack. When I got there all we did was 30 minutes riding around and around in an arena and then picked up poo from the field, groomed the horses multiple times, platter their hair and tacked and untacked for the remaining 5 and a half hours. Expected to do more riding than that. What a waste of £40!!!

Very disappointed with the response my daughter got from this riding stables. She enquired about a Saturday job to learn about horses and was told by a lady there that she would be an inconvenience as she got no experience and they would have to train her up. Nice to know that you are only worthy to attend there if you got experience... so would not recommend this stables even if they do have a good name

Good pub/grub carvery. Very accommodating. Food came out super quick. All good. Would recommend. Nice classic pub inside

Lovely time with the kids riding. Older ones went out hacking, smaller ones practised their technique in the paddock.
