My daughter has been dancing ballet at Hertsmere Academy of Dance & Performing Arts for over four years, from the age of 4. During that time she has completed a ballet exam and performed in a group show. She has always loved her weekly lessons which are of an excellent standard. The teaching team, led by the school principal, are very kind and nurturing and all the kids of various ages always come out of their classes beaming from ear to ear. There are other dance schools around with non-qualified teachers, so I would throughly recommend the ballet classes at Hertsmere Academy to ensure your child has a friendly, safe and rewarding experience.

His confidence has grown so much since he started, and we are beyond grateful to everyone involved in this amazing academy. ❤️ The entire team is so kind and nurturing, and the communication is always on point. I am delighted to share my very positive experience with Hertsmere Academy, thanks in a large part to Miss Chahna's dedication. For three years, my daughter Maya has been enjoying the class, learning not just ballet, but also valuable life lessons in resilience and grace. When I had personal health issues Miss Chahna was extremely supportive and kind. It’s not just the dance skills including a chance to take ballet grades that Maya has acquired; it’s confidence and poise. Participating in a live stage performance in a real theatre made her feel incredibly special. This academy, with educators like Miss Chahna, is a place where children are nurtured and cherished.

My daughter has been doing weekly Ballet and Tap classes for over 8 years (since she was in Nursery) with Miss Chahna. She absolutely loves her classes and has developed so much confidence in her ballet and tap abilities thanks to the most professional and fun classes. My daughter has taken numerous ballet and tap exams which have proven to be wonderful experiences where she has frequently been awarded distinctions and/or high merits due to the amazing teaching and impeccable preparation. She is currently practising for another show which she is so excited about. The past few shows have been truly amazing and my daughter has loved every second of being part of these phenomenal shows and as a parent they have been an absolute joy to watch. I couldn’t recommend Hertsmere Academy of Dance and Performing Arts any more. They are so professional and go the extra mile to ensure every child gets to shine.

My daughter has been with Hertsmere Academy of Dance and Performing Arts since she was three years old. Starting with ballet and now aged nearly nine she has moved on to modern dance and also recently started tap dance. She absolutely loves the sessions and always comes home excited and showing the new steps at home. The school has got great teachers and fantastic range of classes, for all ages, adults too.

My daughter has been attending ballet classes for the last 4 years and over those years she still goes to every single lesson with huge smile and excitement. She has learned a great deal and passed her exams and looks forward to continuing her development. My daughter has been going to Hertsmere Dance Academy for few years. This is a warm, friendly and professional school. It develops dancers that are confident in their own bodies, whilst teaching them ballet to a high standard due to the experience and skills of the teachers. Chahna is very kind and professional and she makes the school environment both professional and homely. Hertsmere Dance Academy is a real hidden gem in this part of London.
