Brian is just amazing. I am a confident swimmer but booked a session with Brian to work on some breathing & other technical problems I was experiencing in the lead up to my open water charity swim. Brian was very patient, understanding & most of all - encouraging. I would highly recommend booking in with Brian whatever your swimming ability!!

Brian is a solid teacher when it comes to technique and progression of the technique. He is very good at explaining the very basics of swimming to the more advanced levels. Would highly recommend for beginners and people are who are seasoned athletes.

Brian is very good instructor - I had already had a few lessons in the past but wanted to improve my front crawl and general confidence in the water. Brian is a patient instructor and has good tips and techniques to improve my swimming and I made real progress in 5 days of lessons. The pool is nice and clean - not too deep and it wasn't busy but that obviously depends on the timing of the lesson. The changing facilities at the gym are basic but also clean.

I couldn't recommend Brian more!
He is a fantastic teacher, very patient and relaxed.

I have always been able to swim but my technique needed some adjustments and my breathing needed help. Brian has taught me a lot more than I would have expected in the time I have followed his classes. He teaches in a very calm and encouraging manner and he's a genuinely nice guy. When needs be he'll assist and demonstrate straight in the water which is a great way to learn and progress.

The same goes for all his other teachers… Brian has put together a great team and I would be happy to have any of them again in the future for further lessons.

Thanks Brian for helping me to improve my technique and give me confidence in the water!

I am a confident swimmer but my swimming style had evolved since childhood without any lessons. It was mainly self taught and I had always felt that I must have bad habits.
Through my lessons with Brian I have really fine tuned my technique and the difference is incredible. I would recommend having lessons to anyone who enjoys swimming as I am sure that even the most proficient person would gain enormously from this and with Brian who not only knows his stuff but treats you in a way that immediately puts you at ease and makes it an enjoyable experience.

I joined swimming class UK after looking around for couple of months and trying other swim schools. I have to say that the way that Brian conducts his lessons suited me the best. The fact that lessons were 1:1 and the patience and knowledge he had to offer was amazing.

I knew bits and pieces of swimming but was never 100% confident in the water or knew proper breathing techniques well. Brian breaks down all the steps and made sure that i was confident enough to do that one element before moving on to the next step. This really helped me become more confident in the water.

Brian is very professional and keeps the lessons fun. I have been taking lessons for couple of months now and i intend to continue as i keep learning something new every week 🙂

My little girl, aged 4, started having 1:1 lessons with Brian in November time. At first, she didn't like having her head under water, didn't like jumping in and was generally nervous in the water - although she loved the idea of swimming. Brian has helped her come on so well and so quickly. Now, after say 10 or so lessons, she loves jumping in, is always going under water, can swim by herself on her back and LOVES being in the water. It's hard to get her out after the lesson has finished! Brian has a great teaching technique and is great with children. He makes the lessons fun and enjoyable, incorporating games into his teaching. My daughter is learning through fun which makes it pleasurable for her and for me. I'm looking forward to seeing how her swimming improves over the next 10 lessons.
